I gave it 5 stars for when I got it hung on the wall, the light is very bright for the hallway that I put it in. The exit portion of the sign is very easy to read at a distance of 200'. You can change the arrow to whichever way your exit is either to the right or to the left. I would recommend getting a licensed electrician to install it as almost all emergency light wiring is wired hot all the time and that will prevent you from being shocked when you go to hook up the new light. If you do it yourself, remember to cut the black wire first and then hook the black wire up last. You'll hear a snap when you put the 2 hotwires inside of the wire nut. I wore Nitrile gloves and I didn't feel a shock when I did it, but the snap was a little disconcerting. I got a 10-pack of Nitrile gloves here on Amazon at this link: https://amzn.to/44meSPcHanging the light was no problem as it includes all the hardware you will need, I'd suggest getting better wire nuts though. The battery back up is way cheaper than the old style of using a 6 Volt standard battery.
