I have a fancy indoor Zwift setup that made my wife curious about riding for fitness. I cobbled together a road bike for her and bought her this trainer. It is so quiet I can hardly tell she's using it; I can be downstairs or in the next room and don't detect any vibration, and the noise of the bike's drivetrain is louder than the trainer. It also has nice, progressive resistance (the harder you pedal, the harder it gets), and appears to be made very well. Good product.

The Elite Qubo is a basic but well thought out trainer at a compelling price. I highly recommend it for anyone who just wants a cycling workout with a minimum of fuss and investment. I purchased it to help with rehab from knee surgery but I'll continue using it with my 700C gravel bike after I'm fully recovered.Assembly was reasonably straightforward. It's only necessary to bolt the resistance unit to the frame but a few aspects require some attention. First, the instructions don't explicitly state which side the resistance unit should face but the pictures make it clear it's the right side. There are also 2 sets of mounting holes, the forward set is used for the 45 mm roller my unit shipped with. Both the frame and resistance unit have plastic parts where they attach and the instructions are very clear about not overtightening the bolts. I used a torque wrench to get the specified 2 Nm. Be sure to use the supplied washers to spread out the load.Fitting the bike is simple. Just screw the clamp side of the mount in or out so the mounts contact the bike when the clamp handle is about 60 degrees below horizontal. Than needs to be set only once, then just close the clamp to get it tight enough to hold the bike without overstressing the trainer frame. If you bike uses thru axles (mine does) you'll need to get a rear axle designed for trainers. The resistance unit may need to be moved to one side or the other to center the tire on the roller, that's done by loosening the mounting screws and moving them in their slots. Setup requires no tension adjustment since it uses your weight. It's not mentioned in the instructions but very important to raise the front wheel so the bike is level. Before I did that my 175 mm crank arm would hit the resistance unit. Even with the front wheel raised my shoe can hit the resistance unit if I keep my heel down too low. You can purchase a front wheel stand (not supplied with this trainer), I used a couple of 1-inch wood blocks instead.Once set up it's super easy to attach and remove your bike. The trainer also folds into a compact shape though it's not particularly light.Operation (with a Schwalbe Insider trainer tire) is smooth and extremely quiet. The loudest sound came from the well-lubricated chain running over the gears, which I can't hear outdoors. The trainer is stable (while I'm seated, I didn't try standing). It does not come with rubber feet but it worked well as is on my wood floor. The resistance range was more than adequate with my gearing (48-42 front, 15-38 rear). Pedaling feels fine and effort increases with speed. The unit is rated for 540 W at 40 kph, levels I'll never reach. The resistance unit does get warm, in warm weather I might use a fan to keep both that and myself from overheating.I didn't purchase the Elite Misuro B+ Sensor so I can't comment on that. I also can't comment on durability since I just got it.

Got this because eople are complaining about the tension.... and wanted to practice uphill riding indoor. Seattle area.My complaint is that I can't adjust the tension on this thing, but adjusting the gear worked. Will use it for a while and see. Was hoping the noise level was low. Someone was saying it's quiet. It is okay, but definitely not quiet and i have hearing problems. However, I am using gravel tires.

Bought this under a friends recommendation. It's my first ever roller, normally just get out on the road but in this poor weather it's a must!I really like this product. Works really well. Easy you set up. Compact when not in use/stowed.Runs quietly and very smoothly. I bought this with the tyre that is listed below the product, recommended additional purchase, apparently that's important.Well worth it.
