I was honestly skeptical about this when ordering but I could not be happier with this little gadget. Right out of the box it was easy to use. In the time that it took me to make a couple of sandwiches, I had perfect hard boiled eggs to go with them. No waiting for the water to boil! A piece of advice: if you cook 1 to 3 eggs, leave the dome on and let them sit for an extra three minutes, otherwise they won't be quite where you want them.

Still Reliable after 2 years!I've used my egg cooker since Aug 11, 2021. I have only used it to hard boil eggs, haven't done the poached or scrambled eggs with it (I prefer just hard boiling them). Eggs have been easy to peel: Eggs have been easy to peel as long as you do the poke in the top of the eggs. (The eggs should be placed biggest side up, then poke with the accessory they included, (Measuring cup with piercing pin which is on the bottom of the measuring cup and has a removable cap on it., see photo). At times, I had forgotten to pierce the eggs and some of the eggs were still easy to peel.)The light on my egg cooker model stays on, but no problem:I don't know how the newer models are since 2021, but the light on mine stays on after it beeps. The light stays on, but it will continue to beep aprox every 5 min for me to turn it off. I have never had a problem with this. I just turn it off when I can get to it. - (I don't let it go too long.) (again, not sure how the newer models are). It's very easy to clean:When I cook Brown eggs it leaves dark brown residue in the cooking part, This residue is very easy to clean even after dried, I just put some water in the bottom and let soak for a few minutes and wipe out with a paper towel. Most of it comes out. If the residue doesn't completely come out I do an extra soak of water and again wipe with a paper towel. - If I miss a cleaning and cook with it again, it's still easy to clean but their may be some residue that doesn't completely clean. It still works as well. I included a photo of how it looks after over 2 years.Cooking time:Starts cooking in less than a minute and, in my opinion, cooks faster than boiling on the stove. (though, I haven't compared the 2 methods.)

This cooker works like a charm. Can make eggs in multiple styles (boiled, scrambled, “fried” without oil). Timer sounds when cooking is complete; no need to hover over a hot pan or over cook by not paying attention to how long it’s been cooking. Great gadget, worth the money! (Not expensive).

Cocina los huevos muy bien, los deja con una textura muy suave. El temporizador es adecuado para un término medio, si los prefieres complemente duros, basta con volver echar un poco más de agua y listo.

UPDATE 2/7/25 - very disappointed. A few months ago (around December) when I would use the cooker started to not cook the eggs properly. I'd do soft boiled and when before they would come out perfect, not I would have to do it again because the eggs stayed raw on the inside. In a few weeks it's got to the point that I'd put in the entire cup of water and still have to add a bit more. Today, I went to use and 3 cups of water later my eggs only cooked because I had cracked to peel and what should have been overcooked hard boiled eggs were still runny whites...so the cracked eggs cooked but I had to use yet another cup of water. I do not cook eggs often. I would say I use the machine 1 every couple of months. Occasionally 2 times so a tentative total would be I used it 14 times a year. That's hardly at all. I use my toaster 2-3 times every couple of months (yes every couple of months, I do not eat much bread) and I have had the same toaster since 2008! So to me I could see it failing after less than 5 years if I used it 2-3 times a week. But at 14 times a year at most this should not already be failing. And the price has gone up significantly for it since I purchased. I no longer recommend as enthusiastically. I'd say buy it because it is great but only if you are aware it'll die and you'll have to spend more money to replace it. Might be a better idea to just but a better quality machine that actually lasts the first time around.ORIGINAL POST -I'm notorious for forgetting I'm boiling eggs. Had to buy a timer and carry it around with me so I wouldnt forget until the fire alarm goes off!! Not to mention I never know when they're cooked all the way. And poaching eggs is a pain to do (even though I love poached eggs!). I saw this on sale and thought "what the heck! Let's try it" BEST PURCHASE EVER!!! Makes the best eggs...I've followed instructions for hard, medium, soft, and poached and it is awesome!! And when I go to peel them they peel properly, not at all like when I've boiled them and the peel sticks and breaks the egg. So now I get to cook eggs in a fraction of the time, using almost no water (yes I like saving water), perfectly and I don't have to worry about a timer or burning the house down!! So if you want something that makes great eggs, saves time, water, and is easy peasy I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I purchased this a week ago and used it today for the first time. I was looking for a cooker that was easy to use and clean up, and that's exactly what I got. The guide that comes with it is easy to read and I found the cook times to be pretty spot on. The auto alarm worked perfectly and went off several minutes before the recommended time for the number of eggs I was hard boiling, so I left them to sit in the cooker after shutting it off for the remainder time. Removed them and soaked in cold water until they were cool. The shells came off easily (I don't know how much piercing the shell helps, but the one included with the measuring cup worked just fine) and cleaning the cooker was super easy. The eggs themselves came out pretty much perfect, with the yolks fully cooked through and no green sulphur ring. Will continue using and might update this if necessary but so far I am very pleased.
