Remote only works when directly beneath the umbrella. Solar panel seems to work well. Did not come with enough zip ties. Lights are an odd yellow color. 7 of the 8 light settings are useless to me. I find the flashing/trailing lights annoying. Price was good so this is not a dealbreaker. Bought for a 7.5’ umbrella. Strands are long enough to fit a larger umbrella.

This was easy to set up and worked fine for a few weeks but half the string failed within a month. I’m super disappointed.

The remote has a terrible range but will work within 10 feet. I am very happy with the lights. I just leave them on and they turn off at sunrise and come back on at dusk. The solar charging works excellent, the light stay on all night (at least 13 hours) .

Packaging / item are fine and it works well, however, the photos and description all say that it's suitable for an 8-rib frame, when in fact it's suitable for up to 7 ribs. With only 7 strings available, it looks weird on mine and for someone who likes symmetry I'm actually finding it frustrating and will be taking it down. I had this sent to a friend in the UK who brought it to North Cyprus for me so I can't even return and get a new one which is annoying. The description and photos need to be changed!

I bought these lights to replace the led lights that were built into my umbrella. The shipping was on time as promised and the product was packed well. One negative is almost all the zip ties have broken off after only two months. Not a deal breaker just a minor inconvenience to replace with new UV resistant zip ties. These lights were pretty easy to install and I like the long lead wire to the solar charging unit because it allows me to simply move the solar panel through the day to optimize sun exposure. The fully charged battery and resulting light is fine for the duration of my night life. I also like the multiple light settings especially the dimming capabilities because it allows me to set just the right ambiance. I wish they would make a set of lights for my “triple” umbrella because this set is just to awkward to fit a triple umbrella.
