Charged it up when received, used it for about 3 total hours. Battery went dead and then would not recharge. I live in Florida and we've had some cool, humid nights, so maybe it can't handle any moisture? I tried a second one, same thing. So it appears to be junk

This light can be turned on with the switch located on the on the light housing, or you can use the remote control. So far I have not had any trouble with the remote control. I did test the switch just to make sure it worked. Lamp gives off plenty of light when hung from the umbrella lighting up the table below.

I got this light for the ez-up canopy that we use when camping and it works perfectly for that. The velcro straps allow you to hang the light from about anywhere. You can choose from a variety of light colors along with some effects like strobe, blink, etc. I really like that it's dimmable and when the battery runs down you just plug it into a USB port and charge it back up.The only knock I have against it is that it has no switches. You MUST use the remote control, and it's small and very "lose-able". If you lose that remote you're done. It would be nice if the manufacturer had included a storage slot in the light case or made some other provision to store the remote with the light unit. Maybe I'll use a velcro dot to keep the remote attached to the light when not in use.

I ordered this LED light to use in our yard, hanging it on the fence to illuminate a portion of the area so our kids can play even after dark, especially as the evenings get shorter in the fall and winter. It works great! It's easy to clip onto the fence, and the remote control is really handy. We can turn the light off without it shining in our eyes when we're hanging or removing it, and we can also adjust the colors with the remote. The kids even created a game with the different colors, similar to red light, green light. We're planning to order another one for more coverage.

The lamp charges up well and has a good mix of control options. I got this to hang inside a pop-up canopy for when I need more work lighting than mood glow (the latter being provided by string lights) and this does a pretty good job for that purpose. The one little issue I faced was that the plastic hanging loop had a metal piece that ended up popping off and apparently isn't picked up by metal detector, so that got lost pretty quickly. I can still hang the light, but it is a slight bother that the metal part wasn't better secured.

I got this light for my wife to use in a pop up canopy that she uses for craft shows. It is useful after dark and helps with brightening up the area during daylight. The variety of color options is way cool though and the little remote works fine. It easy to hang and retrieve when done which is a positive point. Being cord powered is a mixed bag for what we are doing with it as power is not always available but we use a battery bank inverter when that’s an issue. It’s a great light overall and I would recommend this one.
