This is great for travel. The battery life is great. Takes 4 aaa batteries if im remembering correctly. Quick and easy to use.

Everyone should own an automatic wine bottle opener! It makes such an annoying task so easy. This one is pretty straightforward and easy to use. Even though I have the classic corkscrew, this one is just so much easier, intuitive, and less demanding. Given the price point for this one, it's a great value.

I bought this wine opener to take to my mom's house for Christmas since she didn't have one and I was bringing wine. I had hoped the exterior material would be of better quality. To be honest, I didn't read the full description and assumed it would be aluminum, but it turned out to be plastic. However, the quality is good, and the product worked great after I put in the batteries. I left it at my mom's house so she can easily open corked bottles now that she is aging, and she loves it. I would definitely purchase this again.

I have a couple of these electric corkscrews (from different brands), in different residences. Why struggle to open a good bottle of wine. We have the technology to make this easier. The negative observation about this one is that it's not rechargeable and in fact, requires 4 AA batteries. They try to spin that into a positive by saying you don't have to worry about recharging, but that's crazy because instead, you have to worry about your batteries being depleted and maybe not having fresh ones in the house when you need to use this thing; not to mention how expensive batteries have gotten lately. It's not that big a problem for me because I have rechargeable AA batteries, but I guess that means I do have to worry about recharging and have the extra step of having to change them out. Otherwise the product works fine but my USB rechargeable one is more convenient.
