Bought this to replace the defunct pneumatic washer fluid system in my '68 VW Beetle. Items was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. Washer fluid bottle and pump seem decent enough, though the pump's current requirements aren't mentioned anywhere (it's 3 amps...I measured the draw). Rest of kit, with the exception of the clear washer fluid tubing, is a joke. Instructions are a single small sheet of paper and are essentially useless, various fasteners/wiring/connectors,etc.seem arbitrarily chosen and are inadequate for the job. The included switch isn't a momentary switch like you'd expect, it's a single-pole, double-throw switch. Why? It would allow somebody to flip the switch, let the tank run dry, and quickly burn out the motor. Keep the bottle/motor and clear tubing, and toss out the rest. This kit is absolutely not designed for a novice with limited/no knowledge of electrical circuits or wiring. If you plan on installing this, plan on buying yourself a couple spools of good quality 16 gauge copper wiring, a good quality wire crimper, a set of crimpable connectors with heat shrink tubing insulators and a heat gun to shrink said tubing, plus a good momentary switch with at least a 5 amp rating.I mounted the tank inside the rim of my spare tire using the mounting holes in the tank and some 5/16" jig bolts, fender washers, and hand-tightenable huts. The mounting holes in the tank line up pretty well with two lug holes in the rim. I then used some velcro to hold the bottom of the tank tight against the rim, creating a "loop of velcro that was threaded it through the bottom two lug holes in the rim and around the tank. If you don't do this, once you fill the tank the weight of the water will put a lot of pressure on the tank's mounting holes (due to the spare tire being tilted backwards), eventually breaking them. The way to hook this up (on a Beetle anyway) is to connect the '-" terminal on the motor to a chassis ground using 16 gauge wire. Connect the "+" terminal on the motor to one side of your switch, again using 16 gauge wire. The other side of your switch goes to power, preferably through a 5A fuse. Connect the clear washer fluid tube to the nozzle on the MOTOR (not the bottle cap...that's just a vent) and the other end directly to the spray nozzle, bypassing the original wiper switch's fluid connections. That's it. Press your switch and the fluid should pretty quickly spray your windshield.

It worked just fine in my 1974 super beetle. A bit of a tight place to hook up the power, i'm getting to old for these tight places (I'm 84 yrs young!)
