the hoist box was damaged and shrink wrapped over the hole. there was another hole on the other end of the box. some nuts and bolts fell out of bag and box. don't know where they ended up but was not in the box.had to buy longer bolts for putting on the front wheels. the ones they said to use was not long enough. maybe had one thread that made it all the way through. no way to put lock washer and nut on it. some of the longer bolts were too long. yes, I did read the instructions even separated all the parts so it would be easy to find and use. now on the long feet that fold up when storing and are put on with a bolt and carter pin. the back fit good and bolt and pin when in easy. the forward part that went over the wheels was a problem. the legs rest on the top of the bolts holding on the front wheels, which made the hole not line up to put the other bolt through. so either you have to redrill the hole so the bolt can go through or what I did. I marked where the bolt heads of the wheels touched the legs. than I drilled a hole in the leg where each bolt head touched it. so 4 holes per leg, total of 8 holes. than the legs would lay all the way down and the bolt would go through since the holes lined up. there is really no much else that could be done to make it work. even if you came up from the bottom with the bolt holding the wheel on, you would still have the nut blocking the legs from coming all the way down. I have not tried to use it yet. I bought it to help me get my 5th wheel hitch out of my truck. its a 20k hitch. bulky and heavy. I doubt if I would ever try to use this to pull an engine. it would be a better buy if it was about 200 bucks cheaper, due to having to drill holes and buy bolts and nuts. we called the company about getting replacements bolts and nuts for the ones that were missing. they said call amazon. not worth packing it all back up and shipping it back to amazon and have them ship me another one. I would not recommend this to friends or family without telling them the problems I had with it
