Works really well with my Mocha Java coffee drinks...like really well. Ice in a blender is nothing like when shaved!

Size is good. Not too big, not too small. Makes good shaved ice.

This Ice machine really makes the perfect Sno-cone Ice. Upon receiving the item, I noticed manufacturing oil on the ice machine. I very, very carefully (because of the sharp blades), wiped with well wrung soap rag and then just ran a single cycle of ice to clean it out. On the subject of blades: BE CAREFUL when lifting/moving the machine. There are also sharp blades where the snow comes out of the neck. Lift the machine by the top and bottom, and NEVER under the neck. There is a warning but it is lower on the side.Ok: It is also important to note that the grey plastic flap on the handle is NOT for shipping. (I almost tossed it.) Keep it! It helps to keep ice and water in the machine. Here's what I did first run: I used a 6 square icecubes from a tray of ice we had in the fridge. This is NOT the optimal ice to use per the booklet that came with the ice machine. However, I added the cubes, plugged in the power, held the handle down and turned the machine on.I realized in 2 seconds I was holding down too hard when I heard the motor hum. As soon as I let up a tad, the ice went FLYING through the machine and piled up in the bowl. I wondered why the bowl sat so loosely in its tray- that's because I had to turn the bowl as it filled with the snow. Since I didn't know that initially, I did have some ice mess, but no biggie. I have a slightly taller stainless mixing bowl that I may try using next time. I will just have to make sure not to block the outflow.I got that shaved bowl of ice in the pic in about 6 seconds! We even made snowballs with it and played with the dog in 95 degree weather. Just perfect! So, so easy to use.I am going to get another of those diatomaceous earth mats from Amazon to set the ice machine on. That way, any ice overflow or melt will be caught- that includes the condensation on the outside of the machine after running the ice through.Overall, we are thrilled with this ice machine. It would be nice not to have to spin the bowl, but hey- it's only six seconds. I DO recommend this Sno-cone machine. It is sturdy, functional, and fun!5 stars.

This snow cone maker has been a huge hit with my kids! They absolutely love making their own snow cones, and the whole process is so quick and easy that even they can handle it. The machine shaves ice into fluffy snow in just seconds, and itโs super fun to watch the ice transform.
