My daughter absolutely loves this machine, she is 9 and can work it by herself when I let her. The syrups are really tasty as well!!!

My 11 year old daughter loves making this shaved ice. She doesn't prefer the grape flavors but loves the other 2. Easy peasy, just follow the instructions and leave the ice out for about 10 minutes before crushing. That makes it much softer and comes out perfect every time. Quick and easy to use.

Got this for my grand daughter because she loves shaved ice. Santa brought it for her and she was so excited! They have used it a few times and said it works really well but just make sure the blocks of ice are frozen all the way. This bundles comes with every thing you need. 3 flavors. Blue raspberry, cherry and grape. Does anyone like grape? Perfect for kids, get togethers or anytime.

The shave ice maker makes very fine, thin ice, but you have to find a perfect balance of ice texture and pressure on the top of the machine. It’s a little frustrating to figure out at first, but once you’ve figured it out, it’s great. One of my favorite things about this is there is little to no clean up. Because it’s just water, you don’t really need to worry about washing it out. No weird stains, no dirty parts, and no weird smells. Another up is that the shave ice maker is pretty easy to use once you figure it out. You can also adjust the blade in the machine to make thicker or thinner ice textures. A down side, is that I occasionally have to adjust the metal grippers the catch the ice because they tend to bend a little while in use. And another down side is that it doesn’t produce a whole lot of ice. For the amount of work, there is only really enough for two small cups of ice for every disk. When I bought this, I didn’t realize a couple things, though. First, I didn’t realize that the machine had two parts, when you put ice in, the top part (the lid) sticks out above the machine, so I thought at first that it was broken, but it was not. Second, the area between the shaver and the base is really short, so you can’t fit much between there. I don’t see these as necessarily good or bad things, just things I didn’t see on other reviews that caught me off guard. Finally, the things that come with the machine. The flavors are pretty good and the straws are straws, but the cups are pretty flimsy. I’d recommend buying or finding different cups to use. All in all, it’s not the best ice maker in the world, but for the price, it’s good for small servings or for people who crave shave ice at 2 in the morning like me 😂

I bought this to have something cool on a hot day. Unfortunately, I was only able to use it for two weeks. My kids "borrowed" it and still have it. I know that I will get it back someday, probably when they run out of syrup.

My grandkids love this little machine. I bought for my grandsons bday party and plan to use it at my granddaughters bday coming up. This is the easiest machine to set up and works great. Fast fun treat. We use lots of stuff to flavor the ise so there isn't a lot of sugar but sometimes for a treat they have the sugar stuff. Lots of smile and fun worth the price.

I recently purchased this snow cone machine, and I have to say it's been a fantastic addition to our summer gatherings. This machine is incredibly easy to use; it quickly shaves ice into a perfect snow-like consistency. The setup was a breeze, and it's surprisingly quiet, so it won't disrupt your outdoor fun.The included serving cups and straws add a nice touch, making it convenient for guests to enjoy their snow cones. What really impressed me was its durability; it handled making multiple snow cones in a row without any issues.Cleaning up is straightforward, too, with removable parts that are easy to wash. Plus, it's compact and doesn't take up much storage space when not in use.Overall, this snow cone machine has brought a lot of joy to our gatherings, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add a fun and tasty element to their summer parties. It's a hit with kids and adults alike!

Buen producto, muy fácil de usar, lo único malo es que los líquidos no los dejaron pasar en aduana, y se los tuvieron que quitar, creo que debería especificar o no incluir los líquidos

first purchase was in july 2013 for my granddaughter, big hit! then three more at Christmastime, one for me, one for a girlfriend's daughter, and a fourth for some friend's teenage boys. hits all the way around. i love shaved ice, with or without syrup. hawaiian ice sells replacement blades on their website: i have not found them offered for sale anywhere else, and wanted to, because their shipping is exorbitant, so high they should be embarrassed, but their ice shaver is awesome.january 20 2014 update: i got replacement blades (they are not thin like a razor blade, but a thickish piece of metal that tapers to an edge) to have on hand to use in the future, and extra cups to freeze the discs, which, btw, come three to an order. i ordered three and received nine, so that was a pleasant surprise. :)a comment about the leftover ice that cannot be shaved when the frozen disc of ice is used in the machine, a 3" diameter disc of ice that is about 1/4 inch thick. i have read complaints about this being a wasted chunk of ice, but i keep them, put the remaining piece of the disc in the freezer in a bag, and use them to cool down drinks that are in large cups, or to cool down brewed tea for iced tea. i consider having the leftover discs a bonus!i buy snow cone concentrate from Ralph's SnoBall Supply and make cavity/bacteria killing snow cone syrups with xylitol granules, a sugar alcohol sweetener, so every snow cone is a treatment for my teeth. you can even buy some of the concentrates that are clear, eliminating dye, but there are still the preservatives. they also sell syrups pre-made with cane sugar and charge reasonable prices for them, but i buy the concentrates to be able to use different sweeteners. xylitol is also diabetic friendly, and it doesn't taste fake, just good, and i usually HATE artificial sweeteners. i made some syrups with cane sugar this weekend for my grandkids to take home, or you can use stevia or whatever floats your boat. i am not using the xylitol to save on calories, but it does that as well. each 4-ounce bottle of sample concentrate yields a gallon of syrup. i make my syrups about a cup at a time. they are awesome tasting and making them with xylitol keeps cavity-causing bacteria out of my mouth. so fast, so easy, so cost-effective, so good. :)
