I like making flap jacks and love adding dry cereal on them to incorporate more texture, fiber content along with other nutrients into my daily diet. But chewing on hard cereals can be hard on the teeth and the jaw so I decided to grind them up instead. I could just grind them up in a blender with some water but that messes up the recipe due to the added water content such that I needed a dry, milling solution. Enter that by Beautig. It's honestly a beast of a machine. I only need about a minute to pulverize coffee, cereals, legumes, and root vegetables. You name it; it can grind it. The only perceivable downside is its limited capacity 800g. And since you don't want to fill it up to the brim lest the blades fail to spin, it's really more like 600g or just above a single pound worth of food. But again, it makes quick work of the contents in about a minute per load so as to gloss over this size limitation entirely from my experience. It's also about the same price as one would pay for a milling attachment for a stand mixer so also highly value driven to boot. Highly recommended to all but especially to those who do not own a stand mixer. 5 out of 5 stars.

This is my first grain mill and let me tell you, it grinds wheat so quickly and efficiently! Itâs not near as loud as I was expecting it to be either. The base does get warm where the motor is but thatâs to be expected for this type of equipment.

This is such wonderful quality, it is quite heavy and extremely durable! This is great for counter top grinding, easy to store and very much portable. This is very easy to use and the instructions are wonderful. This grinds up all of your grains, coffee and so much more. Very pleased with this entire piece! Great value!

I have never owned a grain mill, but I have owned, and do use a high-speed bullet blender, a coffee grinder, and a spice grinder. This appliance is another addition to those, and after taking it out of the box and using it on a couple of different things (oats to oat flour, corn for masa), I am wondering if it really differs much from any of those, especially my bullet style blender, which grinds things as finely as can be. This unit grinds dried items really fine - especially whole spices - but so does my spice grinder (which is a lot smaller and easier to store).I think for the space this takes and the job it offers, I'm not convinced this is very useful for me at this time. If I grew my own grains I might feel differently. if I grew my own corn, for example I might use this more. I am giving 3 stars because this does work as advertised, it's just not very useful for me..

Overall: Recommended gets the job done. Great product for getting started with mill grinding just keep in mind not to overload the motor. Start small and be patient with it. Cheers

I recently changed over to using fresh milled flours for all of my baking/frying/etc. whenever flour is needed. As such, when I saw this grain grinder I thought âperfect timingâ and was excited to try it out. The build of the machine is solid and itâs very easy to operate, but seeing it in person, Iâm torn on really how useful it will be to me in the desired capacity of fresh milling my flours because itâs not that different from my Vitamix with its blades. I wanted an actual flour milling machine that wouldnât grind the seeds so aggressively causing degradation of the nutrients as compared to the ceramic milling stones typical of classic flour mills/grinders. To be clear, this machine is certainly powerful and does the grinding job quickly, and it seems of commercial-like quality, I just donât think Iâll be using it for my fresh milled flours. I canât use it for coffee beans either as itâs not a conical Burr grinder and thatâs a must for my coffee grounds. So, I may just give it a try as a spice grinder (a huge one at that, lol).
