I’m so glad I got this Grain Mill Attachment for my KitchenAid Stand Mixer! It’s easy to attach and works smoothly to grind non-oily dry grains like wheat, oats, and corn into fresh flour. The adjustable grind settings allow me to choose between fine and coarse textures, making it perfect for different recipes. The build quality is sturdy and durable, and it doesn’t overheat even with continuous use. Cleaning is straightforward, and it saves me from buying pre-ground flour. If you love baking with freshly milled grains, this attachment is a must-have! Highly recommend!

I got this in and my mom and I were so excited to try it she ran to the whole foods while I was at work and grabbed some whole wheat, so I went over after work and we milled our own flour. I forgot to take a pic, but it was fun (also messy cause we had no idea what we were doing) and made flour right before our eyes! I then used the flour to bake a cake and I feel like it was more moist than usual. I don't know if it's all in my head or if it's legit, but I like this thing and will definitely use it again! I'll try to remember to take a pic next time too!

This product is on par with what you'd expect from other cheaply made kitchen aid attachments. The mill tooling is very dull and not machined well. The product results are inconsistent. On the tightest setting it mills wheat berry well enough, but I'm not confident it will do that for long. When cleaning after the first use I noticed the drive shaft is out of round and excessively wearing. This attachment will likely be worn out in just a few months of use. At the price point of this product, the actual Kitchen Aid KGM mill isn't much more and will serve you much better. If this product was half the price it may be more justifiable, but don't expect much from this product if consistency or quality is key.

Used frozen whole soft white wheat grains. Ran it through twice and sifted through #40 mesh. Still too grainy for softer baking needs. Is okay for more rustic breads- mixing 50% milled flour w other half AP flour and that was fine. This is kind of how any of these attachment mills are though- haven’t found one yet that will make as fine of a flour as a stand alone one. However this is way less expensive than those!!

Disappointed as the largest settings 7-9 to do cracked grind is inconsistent and is giving 3/4 fine like on setting1-2 and only 1/4 cracked rough grind. If you need fine grind only this works decent for that. But if you need a rough grind skip this mill. I’ll be returning as it’s basically giving me 2 grind settings not 9 as described.

I haven’t had a chance to fully test this grain mill attachment for KitchenAid mixers yet, but I did take a close look at it, and I’m already impressed. It’s solid, heavy-duty, and well-constructed, with a sturdy metal design that feels durable and built to last. It also attaches easily to the KitchenAid power hub, making setup simple and hassle-free.I purchased this because I want to grind whole grains for homemade bread, and based on its quality, I have no doubt it will do the job well. If you’re a baker, coffee enthusiast, or home brewer, this seems like a fantastic tool to have. I’m looking forward to trying it out this weekend and will update my review once I’ve put it to the test! But for now, I can confidently say that it’s a well-made, high-quality attachment that looks like a great investment! 🌾🍞✨

Works great out of the box and no assembly required. The build quality and look of this is not up to the standards of the kitchenaid. It ground about a cup of hard red wheat in about 15 minutes. So it's not super fast, but faster than a hand crank mill. The grind on about 1.5 setting is fine enough for making bread.
