It’s passable. I expect I was aiming for size and price when I bought it. It seems like it will probably pulverize rocks into sand if needed. I’ve used it to grind dried reishi mushrooms — which are basically wood chunks. Worked fine. Seems to work pretty fast.Downsides? Gets hot pretty quickly. But, seems it’ll probably run for the specified time before needing to cool. The “seal” between the grinding cup and the top… is a bit dubious. Fair bit of dust shoots out at times. It’s “acceptable “ though. Serves its hobbyist purpose.

Works amazing! It’s a little loud but nothing I can’t look past. It works very fast on grinding wheat and cinnamon sticks.

Grinding wheat berries to make my own wholewheat flour for my bread making. Does a great job grinding it up into a nice wholewheat flour, but there is a little leakage coming out of the bottom of the mill and onto the buttons down below. Added little brush helps sweep this up.Follow the instructions, I do 3x 10secs pulses, and I get a nicely ground up wholewheat flour without any chunks.

The blades were not sharp and it did not grind the herbs.

This has made it so easy to grind spices to make a large batch. It literally takes less than a minute to fine grind the spice mix. Previously I used to struggle for hours using a regular mixer. Highly recommend if you do any grinding - fine or coarse. For coarse grinding, need to use it for only a few seconds at a time.

This this this was dirty and covered in hot glue (and hair?) from the factory started to heat up the minute it was plugged in, smelled of hot plastic and ozone immediately (before even switch on).in the span of about 4 minutes on the second cup of wheat berries, it seized and melted down.I will be returning as no replacement would solve the quality issues with this potential fire hazard.

I received this electric grain grinder tonight. It has a lot of scratches and some kind of a metal damage. I can’t say anything about its performance because I have not used it. I am attaching these pictures so that they can speak for me. I am sorry, but I could not wait until morning to get the better-quality pictures or a video. I just wanted to put this thing back into the package right away. I am definitely returning it.

Holy cow this thing is insanely powerful, its my 4th grinder, and every time I get a larger model as the last one broke. This time I think I'm good for a long time.

I wanted it to grind black rice to flour to make dol dol. Using food processor or a coffee grinder was grainy like sand rather than having a fine flour like texture. I have not tried other grains.Heat and grinding really packs the flour into lumps to the point one should shift the lumps apart for easy mixing ( - without dealing with lumps in the batter if you hand mix)I would say the way it packs into lumps make cleaning out for the next batch time consuming. Digging hard with the brush to clean out the lumps will be hard on the brush. Replace it soon? on the plus side it takes up a lot of the 10 min wait time to cool the grinder before the next batch.

When this arrived, so well packaged I was stunned to see the additional blades and other replacement parts should there ever be a need, Not to fear it comes fully ready to plug in and pulverize ANYTHING you need to powder. Saves wear and tear on the VItamix when crushing up egg shells or other herbs and grains and even hay which I feed to my red wrigglers. It has high grade stainless steel construction which is very easy to clean and is not unnecessarily loud when considering what the rpms are and the pulverizing being done. Powder is NOT a problem,, just wait for a few seconds for the powder to settle before opening it up. You will not regret getting one of these, its a beast!
