This is amazing. I used it to ground chaga which is like a rock. The pieces were already broken into fairly good sized chunks, I ground it for about 20 to 30 seconds and it came out like ground coffee. Perfect for what I wanted it for. Recommend.

I had no ideal that I paid over $79 for a used grinder! There was so much flour on it; I wiped the top off only to find the sides and inside were just as used!

It's essentially a giant coffee grinder that does exactly what I bought it to do - namely, grind wheat berries into a small batch of flour, the perfect amount for a single serving of pasta or small loaf a bread. The device is solid and well made, as far as I can tell. I can only give it 4 stars though for three reasons:First, it does heat up a bit. Not the biggest deal for me, but if avoiding "pre-cooking" ingredients is vitally important to you, you might be better off with a more expensive grander designed to stay cool.Second, it takes much longer to adequately grind things than stated in the instructions/product description. Which is what causes the extra heat. Again, not a big deal, just annoying. Just be honest about these things. It's still significantly faster than the regular coffee grinder I bought it to replace, and grinds much finer, so... just be honest!Three, the biggest issue as stated in many other reviews: no safety latch. I have twice now showed my kitchen in flour because I forgot you can run this device without the lid on. It is entirely possible to take your fingers off in a distracted moment, and I really don't see why it's so difficult to just add a safety latch to the lid. Warning buyers to unplug the device before removing the lid may prevent you, legally, from being sued if someone loses a finger, but if you actually cared about your customer's safety... just add a security latch!Overall though, a solid grinder that does what it's supposed to do.

This grinder is VERY powerful, efficient, time-saving and very well made! It easily and efficiently grinds grains like corn, wheat, etc., pelleted animal feed, egg shells and more - in SECONDS! It is easy to clean with a brush and/or cloth. The instructions for operation are minimal but adequate. Only grind totally dry materials This was a great buy for me and a great asset!
