It worked great for about 4 standard cans of vegetables, but then the blade wouldn't cut through and the gear wouldn't grip. The charge lasted longer than the blade. Recharging and changing the blade out didn't make a difference once it quit, it was done cutting. I was hopeful as I have limited counter space and arthritis that prevents me using the manual openers.

I actually purchased this can opener twice. The first time I thought it was broken and returned it. I rated this a 5 but I feel the instructions are not clear. The can opener opens under the can rim, which is not traditional. I kept trying to open several cans before I realized It. I finally discovered that it works great just differently. I love that it is chargeable and I don’t need my husband to help open cans any longer😊

Problem: My wife dislikes clutter in the kitchen and refused to have a clunky can opener on the counter and the manual can openers do a horrible job.Solution: this battery powered can opener does a great job especially with the lid removal and can be put into a drawer, out if they way reducing clutter. It works smoothly, has plenty of power, and results in a lid with no sharp edges. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on battery life and how many cans you can open on a charge, but it has a digital display of the charge remaining and it gas barely moved since we purchased it.
