About this item

  • 【15 Amp GFCI Outlet】Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) receptacle is designed to recognize a ground fault in your wiring and immediately breaks the flow of electricity, thus protecting you from electrical shock. Please kindly check if the depth of electrical box can fit our GFCI outlets before purchasing.
  • 【Automatic Self-Test】The red LED light blinks every 30 seconds indicating a successfull self-test. If the red LED light stays ON, the test has failed and the GFCI must be immediately replaced.
  • 【Tamper Resistant】Tamper resistant (TR) receptacle has spring-loaded shutters that close off the socket openings. An important next step to making the home safer for children.
  • 【Easy to Install】Easy Installation with back or side wiring. Wall plates, screws and installation instructions included. Caution: Do not unscrew the terminal screws too far or with excessive force. Do not use power tools to loosen the terminal screws.
  • 【Certification 】15A/125V/1875W. UL Listed.

10 Pack – ELECTECK 15 Amp GFCI Outlets, Tamper Resistant, Self-Test GFI Receptacles with LED Indicator, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, Decor Wallplate Included, UL Listed, White
GFCI:
GFCI stands for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. A GFCI receptacle is different from a conventional receptacle.
It has a safety feature that will trip and shut off power within milliseconds of detecting a ground fault, thus helps to protect against electrical shock.
Certified:
ELECTECK GFCIs are UL Listed, which assures quality and meets specific electrical code compliance.
Quality:
Each unit of ELECTECK GFCI outlets are individually tested to close tolerances for function and safety before leaving the factory.
Customers can trust ELECTECK GFCI to protect your home and family.
Advanced Technology:
These GFCI receptacles use the latest technology to consistently ensure exact tolerances for trip threshold. This ensures safety, reliability, and eliminates false tripping.
Tamper Resistant:
These GFCIs feature tamper resistant outlets for where code requires, or for an extra margin of safety.
Please note: Tamper resistant receptacles have a safety gate in the outlet to prevent unwanted objects being inserted.
The outlet can be a bit difficult to plug into the first few times. This will become easier with multiple use.
Wall Plate and Screws are Included:
The included high quality wall plate and screws conveniently save you time and money on your GFCI installation.

I go through a lot of these with my business and have yet to get a callback for a replacement. Price is exceptional compared to some popular brands.

WHAT WOULD HAVE COST ME $25-$30 PER OUTLET AT THE BIG BOXSTORES , I FOUND ON AMAZON FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST!

As other reviews have confirmed, some of the outlets were indeed defective. Do not buy these. Quality control is subpar. It has cost me time and labor to replace defective outlets. I returned the defective items but Amazon sent me a warning email saying I had returned damaged items. I find this unacceptable. Review lowered from 3 stars to 1 star.

not using these like you would suspect. Am installing a 7000 watt generator backup system but the main panel is too far away from where the generator will be. So a transfer switch is impractical. instead, I'm mounting outlets right beside the main items (well pump, sump pump, basement fridge, etc) and will power those outlets from the generator. When the power goes out, turn on the generator and plug the appliance into the generator powered outlets. No back feeding problems, no costly and expensive transfer switches. A simple solution to an odd problem. Always use GFCI's on generators if possible.

This outlet was a tight fit in a standard box and was fairly easy to attach. The only issue I have with it is that on many outlets the screws will unscrew and stay fixed so you can easily attach the wire. These do not, making it really difficult to attempt to pull the screw out with one hand while attaching a wire with the other. With this improvement, I may have given it five stars. I have been running it for about a week and so far it is working great. I will update this review once more time has passed. I paired this unit with an in-use cover.
