This tool was a lifesaver when the ignition switch in the car had to be replaced, as the switch could not be removed without it. The original manufacturer's tool was nowhere near being affordable and this stopped me from having to take the car to the autoshop

What would have taken at least 10-15 minutes to figure out how to use a bunch of flat head screw drivers to open this turned it into a 10-15 second task each way. Good quality metal and doesn’t scratch or take any force to use. If you need to remove the ignition, buy this now

I wanted to remove the ignition switch on a Mercedes Benz W447 (Metris). There are several YouTube videos that show how to remove the ignition switch retaining ring using screwdrivers, pry tools, etc. at the risk of damaging the surrounding panel. This tool has a polished finish and the Mercedes Benz triangle. It works very well. For the relatively small purchase price, this tool is a no brainer in my opinion.
