I appreciate that the tray is one solid piece, when so many of these trays are in two halves. That said, it’s plastic and the sliding mechanism is plastic, which is why customers have reported it doesn’t slide “smoothly”. I don’t mind this, it still functions fine. The brackets are very solid. I gave only 4 stars because I feel it’s rather expensive for being plastic. But I’m happy with it and am keeping it because I think it’s better to have the tray as one solid piece.

This thing is pretty sturdy, the clamps are nice and deep, secure hold, it's metal clamps but the tray is plastic. It's pretty good quality though, using it to hold a strix g18 gaming laptop. It's about 6 lbs and holds its weight just fine. I have a thin board underneath to increase the depth but have no worries it'll hold up.

This clamp on keyboard tray slides easily out of the way. Seems sturdy when I rest my palms on it. There are 4 screws that attach the 2 clamps to he tray. They are really small and so you need to make sure you do not lose them. Also, be aware there are different widths and configurations when you order. It does exactly as advertised.

I have tried (just recently) other Keyboard Tray with Drawer from Amazon and found them wanting. Ok, I ordered one that was about the same price that was terrible. I thought I received a bad one in error. NOPE, an error it was not. The other Keyboard Tray was so bad I returned both. I was concerned that this one would have the same fate. I was pleasantly surprised because this one is a dream 5 star Keyboard Tray with Drawer that was easy to assemble works smoothly and has a great drawer. Thank you!

Hope I the plastic trey doesn't break. It seems very flimsy in comparison to the mounting brackets.

Me sirvió bastante, el escritorio qué tengo fue construido con mdf así que me preocupaba taladrar para poner un compartimento para el teclado, así que este producto me salvó la vida. Super fácil de instalar y lo puedes poner en cualquier mesa y después quitarlo sin dañar los muebles.

Ajusta muy bien aún en escritorios de vidrio , firme y con buen ajuste .Me gustaría que se pudiera ajustar la altura , pero es una buena opción
