Installed it using 8-40. I stripped the original which was I think 6-48 and re-tapped receiver. The mount was perfect for this fix.

Just the ticket for long range rimfire out to 200 yards with the 20 MOA mount. Solid, great fit and included torx mounting screws. I'm a firm believer in using epoxy/JB Weld to bed scope mounts, especially on 10/22s where the screws have very little threads, to ensure there is no movement. I use a fairly heavy 6-24 scope and have seen no drift or movement since mounting.

Well, I may not need a 20 MOA. a 0 MOA mount should still work. But my scope has 80 MOA range, guess it doesn't matter much.This rail is extra long so I can mount my scope at about 1 to 2 inches further than a standard size rail. It will extend a bit out over the barrel, but should still be alright. My only hope is it can be another inch longer as the eye relief of the scope seems on the long side. Maybe I should replace to a longer stock instead, LOL.
