The family had a big event, where many out of town members were invited for breakfast.I ordered this dispenser for ease of making the pancakes. Had one person mixing the batter, and another ladling batter into and dispensing. This kept the chef very busy and allowed us to feed over thirty ! Sharing the work and the dispenser made all the difference !

I have a black stone and I have been really wanting to make pancakes since I got it. This has helped. Now I messed up and made my batter too thick the first time and it didn't pour out like I needed it to. Once you kind of get your batter consistency that you like it works a lot better. It's very easy to squeeze the handle, let a little out, move on to the next. I like to make a lot of Pancakes so it wasn't that large of a size but I think for a standard household it's fine. The overall cleaning of it isn't hard but I did find that food particles get stuck in the bottom opening.Other than that it's really fun to use.

I've used this several times and only have one issue with it - it works better on traditional, thinner pancake batter. Even considering that it's a bit more difficult with a thicker, whole wheat batter, it's a a great dispenser. I make my pancake recipes separate and then add to the bottle. It holds a lot. It's great to have uniform sized pancakes. Very happy with it!

I bought this primarily to help me with doughnuts and muffins, not pancakes. I assume it will work well for pancakes, but for doughnut and muffin batters, which tend to be thicker, it is not really very useful.

This massively improves the pancake process at my house. If you use pancake mix that already has the milk and dairy included, and are just adding water, you can mix the batter right in this container. Be sure to add the water first, and you can use the measurements printed right on the container for the water. Mine was 1.5 C water and 2 C pancake mix, I don't think I would try it with much more than that as it was pretty close to the top. Stir with a bowl-scraper type spatula until mixed. My guess is that you could do the same with the type of mix that requires an egg, if you whisked together the water and egg first and put it into the container before the pancake mix.This container also makes it easy to make all the batter and leave some ready for someone who sleeps later. Put the lid on, and put it in the fridge. You can leave the skillet out and don't need to bother washing up the pancake turner or anything else. Then boom, they emerge, you heat the griddle again, grab the batter from the fridge and dispense the remaining batter you have saved for them. You really come out looking like a wizard in this scenario.

We had been using the squeeze bottle dispenser, but the batter would always get jammed up and it was hard to squeeze the batter out. This dispenser works great! No jamming :) Easy to use!
