I am sure this product works very well for pancakes. This product was not what I expected. It will be difficult as my mixture is much thicker than pancake batter. The plunger will interfere with my carpal tunnel problems. I will continue researching for a more perfect fit. Thank you. I will be returning my purchases.

It is sold as stainless steel. However the handle you push and a part inside the plunger is made form aluminium. It turns black in the dishwasher and stains your hands and the batter. Stay away.
