We have a variety of trees and this tent keeps leaves of all sizes out of our pond. Easy assembly. Well constructed.

This tent was exactly as advertised. Compact, durable, light weight and easy to assemble and position over our pond. Unlike previous nets we’ve had, the border edging made for a tangle-free roll out. Because the rods and joints will be protected by the sleeves over winter, I anticipate the disassembly will go just as easily as putting it together. 30 minutes out of the box and it was over the pond. Some of the best money we’ve spent on our pond in years.

Works great, installed just in time under our tree that’s now shedding leaves.

The tents are easy to assemble. I ordered the largest one and got it assembled myself, but asked for help positioning it over the pond. The only problem was in adding the stakes. Because the ground was uneven, when I pulled some of the stakes taut the tent flap raised off of the ground somewhat instead of remaining flat. I laid bricks on the flap to hold it down. My pond is large and has an unusual shape; one wasn't big enough to cover the entire pond. So I ordered the next size smaller one as well. That one I assembled and positioned myself. There's about a 6 x 4 foot gap between the two tents that I covered with another net. I wish there were a way to join two tents together, or a flap of netting that could extend from the top of one to another. At any rate, they have held up to strong winds and heavy downpours so far. We haven't had a snowfall yet. Overall, I'm quite pleased.Update: I've changed my initial five star rating to four stars. We had a heavy, wet snowfall last winter and it snapped some of the poles. So I can no longer use the tents. I wouldn't recommend these if you live in an area that gets heavy, wet snowfalls.

I LOVE this net. We have a lot of trees surrounding our little pond. I used to scoop them out (very time-consuming) but now I just let the wind take care of them. The leaves have been falling for weeks. This morning a lot fell all at once (second picture). Those would all be in the pond now if I didn't have the netting over it. The wind (or my leaf blower) takes care of all the leaves that are on the net. Or sometimes I just grab the netting and give it a shake. The net was super easy to put together and install. It is very light-weight and comes with everything you need to affix it to the ground. My husband and I put it together in a few minutes. I like the fact that the edge is not rigid so that it conforms to whatever you have to deal with (rocks, different grading) around the perimeter of your pond. Last picture is an owl that was checking out the fish. And the raccoons haven't been back. Yay! I can feed the fish through the holes in the netting. I thought I would have to open the zipper every time, but it's not necessary. Yay, again!! As far as it holding up, we had a heavy wind a few nights ago strong enough to knock over a wheel barrow, but the netting stayed in place perfectly. I say spend the money and get this. You will be so glad that you did.

What a total waste of $117. Perhaps it is useful to people who have fishponds since birds can't get in. But as a protection for vegetables and fruits - it is useless. Even though it is staked into the ground and weighted down with heavy cement blocks the critters I was hoping to keep out - chipmunks - easily slip through the tiny openings where the corners meet up. I bought this to keep the birds and chipmunks from eating my strawberries and blueberries. I even planted them in elevated planters and surrounded the plants with lots of dog hair which is supposed to repel chipmunks. The chipmunks have devoured every green strawberry and every just ripening blueberry. Additionally- this thing is not easy to assemble - it took three of us to do it and it is not easy to get in and out to plant, hand pollinate and harvest. The cement blocks and ground stakes must be removed. Hand pollination is required since the holes are much too small for bees to enter. The description said the holes were about the size of a quarter. They are less than the size of a dime. So - it is more trouble than it is worth and quite a waste of money since it does not do what it was supposed to do. Very disappointed.
