I liked the concept but in application the bottom skirting totally failed to resist UV and has disintegrated and separated from the zipper.I am a persistent Amazon customer but I am very dissatisfied with this ourchase.

We purchased the largest dome (13x17) foot for our pond last summer. The instructions we somewhat vague, but we got it assembled (2 people job). We installed the assembled unit last fall to keep leaves and other debris from getting into the pond. It looked really nice once assembled and installed in place. However, as someone else mentioned, it will collapse with a stiff breeze. I tried ziplocs to secure the top at the rod crossing point. That seemed to help a little with the wind. However, snow will collapse the dome almost immediately. I tried securing the rods with small rope and ziplocs to a nearby fence and deck....that helped until some of the rods snapped. I finally went to my local hardware store and purchased some small diameter PVC pipe and created an inside middle support for this dome. That seemed to help a lot! Now I'm trying to find replacement fiberglass rods to replace about 5 completely shattered rods. If you purchase this dome, and live in an area that has wind over 10 mph, and snow or ice, then you will need to make some type of center post to support this dome....otherwise it will constantly collapse.

I had an issue with herons in my yard. It also helped keep the leaves from getting in the pond.

If you've put up a tent, this is easier. 5 minutes up, and just about the same to break it down and put it back in the bag. We use this when one of our chickens need alone time (e.g., injured or sick) and it works great for that.

We bought this to deter an aggressive heron, so far so good. Easy to assemble. It took 2 of us to set it up because of the obstacles. You can adjust the shape to fit, in one pic we used a screws to secure it to the deck and dropped the other 3 corners a foot lower to the ground using the anchors that came with it. No storms yet but a few windy days had no effect. It is an excellent system that has done exactly what we hoped.

I am not using this mesh cover for its intended use, but instead as a temporary indoor aviary for some rescue, foster pigeons. It works fantastically for this use and the little pidge couple are very happy in their temporary aviary. I do wish it was weighted on the bottom though. If this was outside I could see it blowing over in wind. I just put some weights on the bottom edge and works fine. The pigeons are not very adventurous birds, so I don’t worry about them getting out. There are zippers going up the center and bottom, just like a tent. It also folds flat for easy storage and uses traditional tent poles for assembly.

assembled near the pond. Took 2 people to move. That was the tricky part. Had to be careful so the pole sections didn't come apart. It is great keeping leaves out. True test will be how it holds up with 6" of snow on it. So far it gets 2 thumbs up.
