EasyFlex Pound-In Landscape Edging offers a simple edging solution for your garden or flower bed. The serrated tooth design easily pounds into the ground with a hammer or mallet, requiring minimal ground preparation. The straight edge border is made of flexible recycled plastic and is durable enough to withstand temperature changes. Use the recycled plastic edging with landscape fabric to keep flower beds clean. Quickly and easily install Pound-In Landscape Edging: clear and moisten the soil along the edge of the landscaping, pound the edging into the soil with a rubber mallet so that 1-2 inches of the edging is visible above ground, and stake the ends of the border. Particularly rocky soil may cause difficulties, in which case moistening the soil or using a spade to create a small trench in the soil may shift the rocks to make installation easier. The EasyFlex Pound-In Landscape Edging Kit contains (1) 20 ft. coil of edging and (2) anchoring stakes. Made of recycled materials in the USA.

NOT easy to install! It took everything out of me to get one side of my pavers finished with one whole roll. What seemed to help is a block of wood placed on top edge and a rubber mallet in order to get it even with the top of my pavers so as not to be a tripping hazard. Haven’t even started the other side because I am dreading it. I thought it would be easier because of the Florida dirt (sand lol).

This edging worked very well for us to keep garden bed mulch out of the grass. Some of the points had to be cut off or down when burying over bedrock but it was easy to do.

Looks good I had to wet the ground to help when installing. For the price I would have like a couple of extra spikes. I laid it out flat in the sun to help flatten it

I used this to form a border between my pool and grass, and it turned out beautiful. I really like that it's not metal, which can be hard to work with. This was very flexible yet is sturdy when I move against it. The jagged "teeth" pierce the ground to make installation a breeze. I bought extra stakes but didn't end up needing them. I am thrilled with how it turned out. Definitely recommend.

This is overpriced compared to some bulk edging products I've seen but if you have a relatively small area you want to install edging on this product works really well. All you need is a rubber mallet and a scissor or some garden shears. It's a bit stiff coming out of the package but with just a bit of patience it's pretty easy to bend it into the shape you want. I ended up using this to make some very nice curved flower beds. The stakes are well made and easy to drive in but you won't really need them too much unless you are doing a longer run and need to join two pieces of edging.

This will mostly do the trick if you are looking for a barrier between grass and mulch on a pretty flat surface. I say mostly because it's not that high and if you have a slope where mulch might slide, this wouldn't be my first choice. It is sturdy, which is a plus, but it's not as easy to pound into the ground as the metal edging with the same type of "teeth." Perhaps wetting the ground might help. I do have a lot of clay so that's not ideal. Even so, this did what I needed it to do along the side of my house where it's mostly out of view. I gave 3 stars for ease of install because I CANNOT stress enough that you need to buy the package additional stakes for each set of edging that you get because they help keep it in place. They really should include more than just two. Seems like a way to get you to buy something else.

It’s sturdy yet flexible. Easy to install with the directions given. I do recommend getting more spikes to ancore it more securely but maybe because I know my husband will bang into it with his lawnmower frequently. By the way the customize service at this company was superior. 2 of the kits ( I ordered 20) came without the spikes I called right away and without any pushback they sent them to me. I’m excited to finish installing them and ordering more I am going my entire property. It looks great already.

I purchased 6 twenty foot rolls of these mainly to keep the mulch from washing away down my driveway or into my grass. The edging is almost 3/16" thick which is thicker than most. It's a tough plastic type material that is not too stiff or too flexible. I laid it out in my driveway so the sun could heat it up and make it flat. That worked. I used a square shovel and dug a trench 2 or 3 inches deep along my existing beds. I just placed the edging in the trench and tapped it down gently with a rubber mallet. Then I used the mallet to tamp dirt down on the backside to secure it in place. I ended up just using anchors at the ends or where two pieces met. After it was all installed and new mulch added to the beds we had 1 1/2" of rain which prior to this would have washed mulch out of the beds down my driveway and into my grass. With the edging installed the mulch was kept in the bed 100%.I definitely recommend this product.

Some reviewers say this product won't hammer in or lay straight. I say, it's all about prepping the job first. I used a straight blade shovel and worked a "V" path where the edging will go. Then using the straight line of the groove, hammered in the edging, which wasn't difficult because of the prep work and having a straight line to work too. My earth was moist, so if you have dry rocky soil, it may take some pre-watering and rock removal. The product itself is very sturdy and with moist soil and a groove to set it in, hammering was a breeze. The jagged tooth design is perfect to holding itself in-place as you hammer and repack the edges.
