These shells arrived 100% intact, no breaks or chips. The shells are beautiful and have the capiz shine I love, but having two holes pre-drilled in top/bottom of each shell is a gamechanger. I finished my wall hanging in no time! Literally couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I'm pleased with the capiz shells I bought from this seller. I bought the natural and four other dyed colors. They are quite sheer but sturdy. I haven't broken one yet. I'm using them to make windchimes. To me, they are suitable for indoors or protected outdoor locations.

I've never purchased anything like these, so didn't know what to expect. I bought them to make window hangings which is why I got the ones with two holes drilled into them. I wanted different colors so I used watercolors on them. The paint is light enough so light still passes through them as if they weren't painted. Watercolors do work with them which makes them versatile for crafting projects.
