Olangda dual mode thermometer (Ear and Forehead)
Olanda infrared thermometer is a dual mode thermometer intend to obtain the body temperature from forehead and ear canal. The thermometer obtains temperature in a Non-contact measurement by taking infrared transmitter inside to avoid across infection.
The thermometer consists of a shell,an LCD,a measure button,a beeper,an infrared temperature sensor,and a Microprocessor.
The infrared temperature sensor collects infrared energy emitted by the eardrum or the skin surface.After being foucesd by a lens,the energy is converted into a temperature reading by the thermopiles and measurement circuits.
Body Temperature Basics
More than that,the thermometer could be used to measure the body temperature under the armpit,in the mouth,or in the anus.The temperature measure at different parts of body may differ slightly.

Ear Canal 35.8℃-38.0℃/96.4℉-100.4℉
Mouth 35.3℃-37.5℃/95.9℉-99.5℉

Anus 36.6℃-38.0℃/97.9℉-100.4℉
The normal body temperature range slightly varies with age and gender.Generally,newborns or children have higher body temperature than adults,and adults have higher body temperature than the elderly.Women’s body temperature are appropriately 0.3℃higher than men’s.

1. Probe(Take off the cover when measuring ear temperature)
2. Memory button/Sound switch(In a power-on state,press and release Memory button enter the memory mode then recorded data beginning with the newest will be shown;press and hold the sound switch button for about 2 seconds to switch the sound on or off)
3. Battery cover(Press and swipe down/up to take off/put on)
4. LCD display screen
5. Probe cover(Put the cover on when measuring the forehead temperature)
6. Adult mode/Child mode(Swipe up and down to choose different mode)

Got this brand and model number a few years ago. I loved it because it was the only 9ne that ever worked. My kids dropped it in the fireplace and broke into pieces. So i came back and bought the same exact one. Looks totally different but figured it was just updated. This one does not work at all. I ended up throwing it out like I do with the other thousand of thermometers that don't work.

Very easy to use, and is lightning fast to read temperatures (when it works)! It will often require several retries, before it finally displays a result. It repeatedly displays, "Too Low" (or, something to that effect), so it seems that if your temperature is lower than 98.6°F, the device won't register a temperature.Therefore, this device cannot be used on zombies, mummies, or vampires... and, is fairly unreliable on humans.

Great product for the reasonable price - especially during these COVID days it is difficult to use normal thermometer while wearing masks. This product helps us to use thermometer without using any human interacting with another person. It have various features like different modes to capture temperature for Adults and kids and we can easily capture temperature with a single click either over forehead or by placing it near to our ear which is very useful for kids. Overall it is an awesome product with a great features.
