Part that was needed. Quick shipping, fixed the problem and got me running.

Our friend has a Generac generator the oil pressure switch was blowing oil all over the motor. When they called for service they were going to charge $300 just to diagnose it. For $18.00 replaced the old one with this and it works perfect!!

Easy to install. Original wires fit perfectly on the sensor. This replaced a faulty sensor and once installed, I was able to start up the generator once again. Bring on the hurricane Beryl!

On inserting part it felt loose and seemed like it might not hold, but so far so good. It does appear different than original part but it does work properly. Hopefully it will last longer than a year. Another reviewer said it lasted up just over a year. Time will tell.

Noticed red light was showing on my Generac, lifted top cover and saw oil all over the bottom of case. Called Generac repairman, showed up same morning, started the generator, saw oil dripping out of this pressure switch. Was told it's a common problem. Disconnected the two wires, unscrewed the leaking switch, screwed in new switch he had in his truck, connected the two wires. No more leaks. He gave me part info, suggested I keep a spare switch on hand.

My oil pressure sensor failed just when I needed the generator during a power outage. I took a chance and disconnected the wires on the faulty sensor just to get the generator to keep running. This is a bit risky since it takes away the low oil pressure protection so I wouldn't recommend it for the long term. I ordered two of these, one to replace the bad one and one for a spare in case it happens again. Easy swap out even though the new sensor didn't look exactly like the old one. We'll see if it lasts. The price was very reasonable compared to one from Generac. Be prepared for a bit of oil to dribble out of the fitting during the swap.

Although it is not an exact copy of the OEM part, it fits perfectly and the OEM connectors mate up correctly. Since this is basically a switch that opens at 10 psi, it matched the OE requirements. It has been in service for a few weeks and so far so good.

I bought this pressure switch for my Generac house backup generator. I could not find the OEM part that had immediate availability. This switch arrived the next day. It fit perfectly and so far, it is working fine. This part is inexpensive, so I ordered two to keep one as a backup.

Used this switch to correct stopped generator low oil pressure warning. Replaces original oil pressure switch on generac 18 to 20 kw generator. First tried a different original look alike pressure switch and it leaked worse than original. This switch looks just a little different but matched the threads and wiring hook ups. It fit perfectly, but I would NOT recommend using this pressure switch.UPDATE: inspected generator today, approx 3 weeks after installation of oil pressure switch and noticed oil leak from plastic on switch. Therefore I would not recommend using this switch! Glad I checked generator!

Fit perfectly. Works fine. My only issue is that the wire connection tabs are a bit flimsy, so be careful pushing on your female spade connectors. If the are really tight and you push too hard, you risk bending the tab over sharply and having it break off because they are made of such thin metal.
