the heater came in two boxes the outer was fine but the inner was not the knob to adjust the heater was sideways and the heater would only run maybe 30s and back off and on again so I spent $50 for a new main board and $15 for a PHOTOCELL and I know someone had it open before because there were 2 screws gone from the main board heater works great after you fix it

I bought this heater to supplement the pellet stove that I installed in my shop. The pellet stove is great, but it takes a long time to warm up my shop in the morning in the winter. With this heater on I can bring the temperature up to a good working temperature pretty quickly then shut it off and maintain a good temperature with the pellet stove. I did find it helpful to build a small cart with wheels under it to move it around easily. I was afraid that carrying it by the plastic handle may break the handle and I don’t want to drop some thing that is full of diesel fuel on the floor.

Works great, have it for 3yrs now, Use it every Winter. Place it in my basement. Set the temp for 60 deg. and let it do its stuff. I burn about 15 to 20 Gallons of fuel each winter. Leave some fuel in it all summer long and don't worry about it. On the second year I removed the top cover to look at the burner and ignitor, to make sure its clean for that winter. It looked like new. i take it outside to refuel the tank witch holds about 5 gal. If I had to redo it. I would have gotten the one with the wheeled cart.

Heats quickly enough, but has strong odor of kerosene. Would not recommend it for garage work. Needs plenty of ventilation.
