Works great! There is a bit of a learning curve to it and some of the double sided tape didn’t stick well, but I just used some clear duck window tape to fix it up.

I'm just a girl and I pay my own bills and needed something easy to use to prevent me for wasting hundreds on my electricity bill. I did all the windows in a day, very just-a-girl friendly ! I'll now be able to buy more lipglosses.

Excellent kit. Large quantity of plastic window film rolls & double-sided tape rolls. Easy to use & attach. Best purchase for sealing drafty windows.

It's our second winter ordering/using this product to seal our 35 year old drafty windows for the winter. The product is fairly easy to install. Pay attention to the how many times the plastic is folded, more than once we've put it up only to discover the piece we cut was still folded over 2-3 times. Better insulation I suppose, but a bit of a waste of the product especially if you measured first and ordered only what you need. We were careful the first year to use a hair dryer to heat it for a less wrinkled look, but decided it wasn't worth the work. This year we just applied it to the two-sided tape on the window frames and got on with our lives. If it's important to you that nobody can tell you have plastic on the windows, be prepared for a longer, trickier installation. We definitely do feel the difference, the plastic is a huge help keeping out the cold.

I bought the 15 window pack. It seems to be keeping some cold out, but I cant get the plastic to shrink to fit, even after working on a window for 30 minutes. It came in a generic box, so maybe I didn't receive the correct product.

I was skeptical due to packaging being genetic as it didn’t come as pictured, but everything was accounted for. Easy to use. We covered 2 standard windows, 1 long, and our back door, all in the sunroom which gets very cold. I will add that we also invested in thermal curtains at the same time so I cannot vouch that the warmth was strictly from this product, but even so, just touching the plastic, it’s cool but not cold like the windows so we definitely feel like it’s a worthwhile investment. No issues with it shrinking or sticking. We can see through everything fine, in fact we almost poke holes in the door bc we forget it’s there, but it’s quite durable and has a strong hold. Bought the 15 pack so we can get many years of use.

Only been applied about a week ago to three small windows. So far, the rooms are warmer and the noise from outside is noticeably reduced too. Hopefully it will stay on and working all winter.

Easy to fit on windows, stronger tape than cheaper one I bought so didn't fall straight off. Better quality film. Definitely worth extra money .

Excellent produit.

Very poor product in comparison to the one in the red box. Very noticeable on the window, have purchased another kind before but went with this on a whim due to the reviews but def not as good quality 😏. Shorter than the other product too. Convenient how the roll unfolds but that’s about where the positive ends

I read through some of the reviews. I've never used this type of product before even though I've always lived in pre-1950 homes, some with original windows. Just moved into a 1910 house with 14 original double hung wood sash windows and no storm windows upstairs. Lots of light, but it's December. I ordered some double hung cellular shades for a permanent improvement and decided to try these in the meantime.I agree with the reviews saying they are slightly cloudy. Not too bad though. The block the drafts. The rooms feel more comfortable. When I touch them they are cool to the touch though. So they're a help but not a solution like storm windows or cellular blinds or new windows.I wish that before putting them on, I had done foam weather stripping on the tops and bottoms of the sashes, the v shaped strip on the sides, and tightened the latches so the sashes lock tightly. Next winter if I haven't gotten storm windows I will also do that before putting them on.I agree with the reviews saying to precut the pieces. It is easier to press them down smoothly without the weight of the rest of the roll pulling on it.I read reviews complaining it's too costly. The 3 roll 15 window pack was $23 compared to $21 for the 2 roll pack and $15 for one roll, so I went with the 3.My windows to be insulated are all 30" wide, so I cut the plastic right down the center crease and doing all the windows (varying between 30-60" tall) took one and some rolls. So I have plenty left for some other windows on the other floor and basement, and cutting new pieces in future years. The adhesion seems fine. It was relatively easy to pull off the plastic if I needed to reposition but it seems to stick well enough. I am more worried about it taking up paint in the spring.Overall worth the time and energy. I'll see how the bill changes.
