Didn't think it was going to work they however made a big difference garage is now about 20 degrees warmer so I would say yeah they definitely work great. They fit my garage door good I didn't need to cut a lot of material. Great value for the price garage stays warmer now in winter will see how it does in the summer. I did t need to use the provided tape l, material looks very durable.

I was very happy that the size of the panels fit my garage door perfectly. I also like that it is lightweight. The 2 sided tape squares that were included didn't hold it in place. I might try glueing it to the door. If it weren't for that I would give it 5 stars.

The product is smaller by a FULL INCH than claimed by the manufacturer. Consequently it does not fully cover the entire door, and on a 8ft door leaves exposed metal.There are NO instructions or suggested installation method.The adhesive pads are adequate only when cut in half to decrease the space between them. They do stick well when the surface is clean and dry.The material is easy to work with and cuts easily with sharp scissors.I sealed all the seams with additional silver tape, and secured the entire top edge of the radiant barrier material to the metal top of the door.Make sure the door is clean and dry where the adhesive pads are applied. I used low foaming detergent and a sponge first, then went over the area again with Windex and a heavy cloth.I have three 8ft aluminum doors. Installation took 3-4 hours per door. The garage temperature is a 10f improvement over the outside temp. Additionally, the doors are quieter opening and closing.

I recently had a new garage door installed and had put off insulating it until freezing temps were in the forecast. Honestly, I ordered this from Amazon because local big box stores had none in stock. It arrived within 2 days and included double sided tape for installation. Based on product reviews, I ordered and used a strong double sided tape so I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the included tape. I installed this in one evening, measuring and cutting on a cardboard laid over my kitchen rug. I left it slightly large so it would “tuck” into the sides, top and bottom. So far, I’m very pleased. It doesn’t make the garage a tropical paradise in the winter but it’s definitely warmer. I had some scraps left over and insulated the back wall of the cabinet under my kitchen sink. It’s on an outside wall and the insulation made a big difference. Overall, I’m very happy with the ease of installation and its performance to date.

They fit well the adhesive pads are a joke! Not enough and don't even work they came loose the first hot day. Another review warned about this so ill need to pull down and redo. Time will tell. Garage seems cooler but still hot! It's easy to work with compared to Styrofoam

I live in Tucson AZ and temperatures have been well over 105 degrees for the last several days. This kit has reduced the temperature in the garage significantly. I am now able to work in the garage into the early afternoon before the temperature becomes uncomfortable. Prior to installation, I would need to be finished by 10 AM. I am surprised by the difference the insulation has made.Cutting and fitting the panels was easy and took just a couple of hours. The panels stay in the garage without adhesive but to get maximum benefit it is important to minimize the air gap between the skin of the door and the insulation panel. I used two strips (top and bottom of each panel) of two-inch wide double-sided tape to secure each panel. I placed the tape on the door first with the adhesive cover in place. I then placed the insulation panel loosely back in place. I then reached behind the insulation panel and pulled off the adhesive cover. This allowed me to press the insulation panel onto the tape evenly with very few air gaps.I would certainly buy this product again.

These panels were very easy to install and, so far, seem to be making a difference in the heat in the garage with the west facing garage door!! We installed one set in less than half an hour without adding the 3M strips .....just securing the panels in the inset of each garage door panel. It worked so well, we ordered a second set and installed easily again. Summer will tell if these keep things cooler, but seems likely!!

Very happy once installed. Easy to cut to fit. Very lightweight. The provided sticky tabs were no good. Just buy a couple rolls of good double sided tape when installing.
