The hooks seem ok, but the bait keeper barbs are tiny. Not sure they’d keep a nightcrawler in place.

I like that the hook material is strong and sharp. These hooks are great and cheap. Looks stronger than other known brands.I dislike that the barbed shank is almost non existent and doubt it would hold bait as intended. My biggest disappointment is with the hook eye. It is too small and I cannot fit my 30lb line thru the eye. I will have to downsize to maybe a 20lb leader material or less.I have bought other types of hook from the same company, same or similar size, that had a much larger hook eye. Not sure why the inconsistency.I almost gave it a 2 star.

i think i buy my hooks from this guy all the time..they work fine for me ive used them many times and they are decently priced.
