I plan to use these for droppers on a catfish trot line. They appear strong enough and are all stainless steel, so should not rust. Steel should resist turtles, although they will be a pain to cut off when the hook can’t be recovered. I like the built in swivels. Circle Hooks are sharp. I do prefer circle hooks for catfish. They are often more expensive, but these are pretty cheap for twenty five leader hook swivel combinations . Because of the slight stiffness of the thin steel leader, they can be stored easily without tangling. I just dropped the leader into the center hole of a piece of pool noodle and secured the hooks into the end. They lift out easily and can be replaced just as easily.

I had been hesitant with these circles BUT now I'm a believer! Being that I dish as a stress reliever (dranks included) i tend to miss a bite here and there BUT look a here! The fact they're high quality and a lot for the money it was a no brainer. Keepem tight!

While pier fishing had two of these break the actual circle hook, not the leader. Could be a possible defective batch but it’s always sad to lose your catch over a bad product
