These hooks are inexpensive, and great for youth fishing. I volunteer in a camp, where we go thru a lot of hooks and bobbers in a season, and these met our needs. Easy to pinch down the barb, too. (We do this so that it's easy to remove the occasional hook that ends up embedded in clothing or elsewhere.)

These are great hooks. I initially ordered sizes 12 and 10 to use for Panfishing, mainly targeting Bluegills. The 12’s are Spade-End hooks, so there is no eyelet to tie your line on to. They’re still useful if you know how to tie a Snell Knot. They would also be suitable for fly fishing purposes as well. They’re TINY, but they still have a time and place where they’d be usable and effective. The 10’s are perfect. They have eyelets and I typically use them on a modified Hi-Lo rig - or as I call it, a Double Drop-Shot rig for Bluegills. Small enough to hook up on all sizes of Bluegill from small ones that you’d want to catch and release all the way up to big slab's. I’ve also caught a couple small Channel Catfish on them as well as a 15” Large Mouth Bass just earlier this evening. Not sure on weight, but Ive attached a photo of it along with a few other fish I’ve caught with these hooks. I have never had a hook bend out, break or anything else yet. I‘ve also never had a fish come off once the hook is set. The 10’s are the perfect size for using pieces of Night Crawler, halves of Red Wiggler works and also the perfect size for micro plastic baits, such as 1” Berkley Gulp! Minnows, 1” Berkley Gulp! Fish Fry, etc. Very versatile.I have also ordered sizes 8 and 6, which I will also use for targeting Panfish and whatever other species I decide to pursue. They’re going to work well for Trout once the winter rolls around. These hooks are so effective and versatile that I even intend to purchase larger sizes to use for rigging swim baits and other soft plastics for Surf Fishing as well. I’ve tried other brands but Dr. Fish is far superior and I don’t plan on using another brand in the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend them to anyone l.

Great hooks. Easy to learn how to tie flies on these hooks as they are not too small nor too large. And, you can use them for larger flies. Again, Great hooks!

Bought the 2/0 size and they are great quality for the price to say the least. They are a lighter wire hook but very sharp and have a nice finish.Use them for tieing pike flys , hollow style tieing because it’s such a long shank and as trailer hook.Highly recommend!
