I needed to replace the trim in my entire home. For the baseboards i was doing a coping cut in the corners. This did speed up the work a lot. The only issue i found was my fault. The spiral blades kept breaking. As i said my fault. I rushed the cut and used to much presure forcing them to break. Once I let the tool do the job at its speed things worked out great.

Las sierritas se salen de la montura. Me parece que la montura o estructura que las soporta es muy endeble.

Almost a great idea but has design flaws in that the blades are held in place by the spring tension of the fork. Of necessity, the tension is very high and I need a slip wrench to loosen and install the blades. There is no way to adjust the tension like in an ordinary coping saw. It would be better to have a stronger, non spring yoke and have some method of tensioning the blade via a screw since over time the spring tension deteriorates and different blades require different tensions. In general, even though the spring tension of the yoke is very high, as mentioned, it is still not high enough to prevent the blade from turning (when you don't want it to). Lastly, the yoke is too short in many cases to get the right angle (if you note, the length of the yoke is much less than a normal coping saw). It's frustrating since it's almost a great idea and would be excellent for coping crown molding otherwise. I think Rockwell was going to make a similar unit with a potentially better design but I don't think they have as yet (if so, I would try their unit). Will fit other tools with the normal adapters. Does come with a nice assortment of blades and blades can be bought separately. Overall, however, probably useful to have in your bag if you want to spend the money.

I purchased this for my Dremel 5000, it's simply amazing. We were having a difficult time cutting a pallet for some art projects I am working on, so I researched and found this mini hacksaw attachment. Like a hot knife through butter, though it's a good thing it came with extra blades, they bend fairly easily. I love it, I am so glad I bought it, it makes quick work of cutting, and you can even somewhat shape things (we made a shuttle for my loom). It was so close to the originals, I don't even notice while I am weaving!

Bought this for coping mouldings and it worked great, much faster than a coping saw. Next time I went to use it I found that the weld on one of the arms had broken, just from being stowed in the Dremel kit box, even though the plastic post in the box was centered through the the mounting hole on the yoke, the way the box is designed to carry accessories. Dremel boxes are always too small -- I wish they would leave more room for the cord and more room for accessories -- but there was nothing unusual about it. Apparently too much for the welds on the yoke though. Just a weak weld in my opinion, as the two pieces hardly appear to have been welded at all. So good idea but poor execution. Better quality control needed.

I use my Dremel Multi-Max often and found this to be a great addition. I use it to make cove cuts on crown molding and can not do it in a fraction of the time. This is very handy when the angle are not standard 90, 45 or 22.5 degrees. Also great for scroll cuts on narrow pieces of stock. Just another handy addition to the Multi-Max toold box.Great shipping. Arrived right on time.

Facing the prospect of coping a bunch of crown moulding, I bought this yoke cutting accessory thinking it was a very cool idea. It is a cool idea, just poorly executed. Carefully following the instructions, I mounted a spiral cutting blade. i turned on the tool and 3 seconds later the blade broke. i reread the instructions and mounted a new blade (it comes with 4 blades). 6 or 7 seconds later - same problem - the end piece broke off the blade. 2 blades broke before I could go near a piece of wood!It might be a fluke that I got two blades with manufacturing problems, but my old fashioned and relatively inexpensive manual coping saw is looking like a better option.Back to Amazon with this expensive non-functioning gadget. It is great that amazon makes it easy to find and buy these cool new tools and return them when they don't work as promised.I do hope Dremel updates this tool and gets it right, because it does seem like a very good idea.

This thing is great! I used it to trim back some PVC pipe sticking out of the wall, notch a 2x4, cope a piece of molding and trim off some protruding nails that hit concrete behind the stud. It chewed through each job without hesitation and no binding. This is an excellent addition to my Dremel tool kit.

I have multiple dremels and other oscillating powertools, I assumed this one would only fit on dremel, however with a little ingenuity, this product will work on any oscillating tool. It is very good at notching out wood, I use it to trim down the thickness of my knife handles when I glue them on, it reduces time and the need for endless sanding to get a knife handle to 1/8" and less in thickness for folders and works great on cutting out larger peices for rigid knives. Still finding uses for this item. would recommend it highly
