Nice, well built, hitch. Really easy to install, fit my 2010 Rubicon with no drilling. The hardest thing about the install was removing the plastic splash guard (AIR DAM) below the bumper. There is a good install video on YouTube.

I was worried it wouldn’t work with my aftermarket front bumper but it tucked up really good. IT’s slightly short (for ease of instinctively) so don’t tighten one side until you have all 4 bolts snug. Has two forward bolts that wouldn’t work with my bumper but it is strong without them.

Front Receiver fit factory holes in frame and shims supplied made a tight installation. Instructions only show a small picture of what has to be cut out of air dam . Took longer to cut hole close to receiver in air dam and make holes for new bumper bolts without butchering air dam.Had new plastic push pins to hold air dam securely. Only the 2" front of receiver opening protrudes through the air dam and does not interfere with the license plate'.

So, been waiting a long time, finally found this, spent all day, fab'd to a push bar for a 02 ford ranger. Oh yeah, Hooks, And a winch... TOP GUN! didn't spend 400 bucks! Spent 100 bucks. I am fine with that, plus my time. That is always the case.

Terrible weld quality. Needed to grind weld spatter and over weld away from bolt holes so washers would sit flat. Needed to elongate mounting hole in bumper by 1/4" to fit. Needed to grind open bolt hole in frame to fit bolt. Overall placement of critical mounting holes was poor. Overall length was too short. Needed to make shims to keep from distorting Jeep frame when tightening bolts. I wouldn't put much load on this hitch. I only intend to use it for a front mount basket. Skill recommended for install: Good Fabrication and Fitting Skills.

This literally took me 20 minutes to install on my '07 Jeep Wrangler. I think I spent longer reading the instructions the day before the install. Now, I already had the bumper off, as I installed this while putting in a rebuilt engine, so it will take longer to gain access if you have a factory bumper. The tabbed nuts may be one of the best inventions ever; I wish more manufacturers used them. I thought it was a little odd that it doesn't sit exactly between the frame, needing spacers on only one side, but it works, and that is what's important.

The package was torn open at one of the corners and two handle nuts were missing. I replaced them with regular nuts from the hardware store, which took a lot of work to install. The instructions were good, and everyone's comments on here seem accurate. I had to widen the hole in the drivers side, per the instructions. I did this pretty easily with a Dremel. The drivers sound mount doesn't fit flush, but it does touch once you torque it down. It was too close for me to shim it, so I didn't have much of a choice. The powder coat is probably the worst I've seen on any product; it was chipped or peeled off in several spots. I was glad to see the instructions include the 9,000 lb capacity and winch instructions. It actually arrived with a Drawtite sticker, not Reese, but I kind of expected that because they are the same part number. The price was good, but looking back I might have considered a different brand. I was partial to this one because the reinforcement plate is on top instead of under side of the hitch, which I think looks better.
