Fairly easy to install with the help of a motorcycle lift. Had to manipulate it a little to get the holes to line up but did it by myself in about 45 minutes.

I wanted a front hitch to add a support for my roof rack, have an extension in the front now to support long items that go on the racks and extend over the front of the truck. No more bouncing around.

I did it myself, I'm pushing 60, could have called my children for help but dont like to bother them, they have a life too. it's a direct fit, no drilling required, you have to remove lower air dam and trim two slots in the upper but it isnt a terrible job to install it.

The Amazon sales version is missing tge necessary hardware for installation, making it almost worthless. Quality standardized hardware cant be picked up at local hardware stores and risky if it is.Seek a better source not on Amazon.

It finally arrived, several days late. The box was banged up pretty bad. The hitch was poking out of the box in 3 areas. The parts bad was open but luckily all of the parts were there.It does not fit the ecoboost models that good. I had to trim the plastic on the ends of the hitch. It was tight to fit. The bolts had to be reversed because of the intercooler. The hitch tilts down some.I would have sent it back but need it now.2012 super crew 2wd.

This showed up on its delivery date. Very easy to install . Need a second person to help you hold it in place to get holes lined up . Does what it is supposed to do !

Received the hitch the day BEFORE Amazon told me it had been shipped. Was packed okay although there was two or three pieces of paper floating around, it was pretty much rattling around the box (however a heavy steel hitch bar can "rattle".:-) ). Installed it on my 2013 2WD F-150 XLT Ecoboost (max options). Pulled the air dam off, pulled an air-flow blanket off. Installed it single handed by getting it in position and then externally pinning it with the 5/8" carriage bolts. The Bumper kept it from pivoting down. Prepped the 6 inch through bolts, installed them with a little wiggle. After they were nutted, pulled the carriage bolts and used the bolt wires to pull them through back through the frame, threads first, no problem. Tighted/torqued all the nuts. Installed the blanket, but the Air Dam will no longer be used, (No Problem!). Looks really sharp, and will be used for parking trailers, but more importantly for my Winch.
