  • Pantry moths commonly enter homes when they are carried inside of dry goods. In warmer months they can also survive outside & enter seeking a place to find food. Once inside, they find food in pantries, ideal for laying eggs and multiplying.

  • First, clean your pantry, removing any infested items. Next, place the traps in your pantry, ideally in areas where you've noticed moth activity. Check and replace the traps every three months or sooner if they become full.

  • Unopened, Dr Killigan's traps are designed to maintain full potency for three years from the date of manufacture, which is printed on the inside of the box lid. Once opened, the moth traps are designed to remain effective for about three months.

  • We recommend allowing at least 10 days before deciding if the traps will work. The pheromones in our traps reach a 25 ft. radius, and it can take a few days for the males to catch the scent. If no moths are caught, try a different location.

  • To eliminate the problem (females and juveniles included), it is crucial to find any contaminated food sources. Check all foods thoroughly for moth traces. Remove any contaminated foods & seal everything else. The females need to be removed manually.

We started seeing pantry moths after bringing in Christmas decorations. First I noticed a couple with one in the pantry then started seeing pretty regular. Bought this product and over night they trapped about 20 moths. Super simple and haven't seen any since.

I have been struggling with pantry moths for many months even after cleaning out everything I find them in. They even spread to several other rooms in my house. These traps are helping to control them within a few weeks. I have 4 traps in several locations around my house and all of them are attracting and killing moths. I hope that before long the problem is completely solved,

Easy to use and highly effective at catching those male moths. Amazing to see some on the sticky pads when practically none are seen flying around.

Totally works! Just follow the instructions. I had a pretty bad infestation. After throwing out the pantry items that were unsalvageable, I placed one in the pantry and three more around the kitchen. As advertised, it attracted the males to their death, and I killed others as I saw them. Four weeks later, we're moth-free.

We live in an area that gets moth infestations twice a year. These are exceptionally effective. Putting them all over the house reduces our moths to almost zero within about a week. It catches lots of them, and they last about 6 months. We have it on subscribe and save now, and we can always tell when it's time to replace because we start to see moths again. Put a few of these out, and within a week the moths are gone. It has a nice design so it's not as obvious as some of the ugly ones, and no scent. Excellent stickiness.

We found these work best if located next to a lamp, where the light and/or warmth seems to attract the moths. If placed in other locations, we catch few moths.

I had a terrible pantry moth infestation in my kitchen, and it seemed like there was no end to it. Every time I opened my pantry, I would see these pesky moths flying around, and it was a nightmare. After trying several different products, I finally decided to give Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps a chance, and I am so glad that I did.The traps are easy to use and come with pheromones that attract the moths. Once the moths land on the trap, they can't escape, and eventually, they die. I placed the traps in my pantry, and within a few days, I noticed a significant decrease in the number of moths. Over the next few weeks, the number of moths reduced to almost zero, and I can finally say that my pantry is free of moths. What I love about these traps is that they are non-toxic and safe to use around food. I didn't have to worry about any harmful chemicals coming into contact with my food or affecting the health of my family. The traps are also discreet, so they don't stand out in my pantry.Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Killigan's Premium Pantry Moth Traps to anyone dealing with a pantry moth infestation. They are easy to use, effective, and safe, and they will save you a lot of frustration and money in the long run.

Desde las primeras dos horas que lo instalé comenzaron a pegarse las palomillas. Había intentado muchos métodos para acabar con ellas y aunque todo estaba guardado en frascos herméticos no había podido eliminarlas. Excelente producto

Simple, works, no mess, YAY!!! I returned from 3 week vacation to find a moth. Just one. And next day, one moth. Killed it. Next day, one moth. And so on. So I knew I had to have an infestation, but where? I researched online, mostly in these reviews, bought a bunch of cedar, and clothing bags, cedar oil, ready to schlep all my clothes outside in the conveniently (?) freezing weather, but I don't know which kind of moths these are or where they are nesting and afraid to check all those clothes hanging in my closet waiting a decade for me to lose weight... so plan is to use the traps to kill as many as possible, identify which room(s) they are in with the traps, then set about deterring them from returning- ever- with the cedar stuff. The traps arrived fast but I was slow to get them open. Its really ridiculously easy, nicely packaged, open a package, fold out the trap, pull of the backing, insert slot a into hole b (they aren't labeled, there's only one slot and only one hole), don't be a moth and stick your finger on the sticky trap stuff. I set it down on the coffee table in the living room while i sat on the couch, I had seen one here each night. All of a sudden out of nowhere come so many moths it was scary. I saw one fly into the trap, alight and fly out. So I left the room for a bit, and each time I came back, more moths were stuck in the trap. Its so nice, you don't see the dead moths unless you look inside. This is a 100% product. They got it all right. It works, its environmentally and pet and people friendly, it's easy, its not too expensive, its smart and once again, it works.I just saw another moth, missed it, but not worried, I know it will end up in the trap. I may have started a little late to avert a full blown infestation, may find the nest or holes in my clothing, but it sure is nice to have a way to fight back, especially when you don't know where they are hiding.*update* Well, I know where they are hiding thanks to Dr. Killigan's. After I wrote this review I poked around the 1 and 2 star reviews. Dr. K's responses let me know a) these traps are for pantry moths and NOT clothes moths and b) they like to come in bags of bird seed and c) the traps are not going to solve the problem unless you find the nest and get that.According to plan, I put the traps in different rooms where I had seen the moths. Plenty trapped in the living room and my office next to the living room, but none in the kitchen. Guess what's in the living room? Several bags of bird seed. Totally gross beyond words, I found lots of their webs and larvae in this open shelving unit. I came back to find out what to do once you find the nest. Not sure if I can add this link but it sure is helpful:http://susiej.com/how-to-get-rid-of-the-pantry-moth-infestation/ (SusieJ How I Finally Got Rid of Pantry Moths). Having come this far (and happy to keep and use my cedar stuff to prevent the clothes type moth, I figure pantry moths were a warning shot, clothing moths would be much worse for me) and seeing the extent of the infestation, and how as I carried some of the bits outside a moth here or there got free, may be inside. Some have to be left in the house and now they will try to make another home in the kitchen prolly, if they haven't already. So I just ordered some Diatomaceous Earth and a duster, and plan to cover the kitchen, behind the fridge, everywhere with it.So it is possible that other traps may trap more moths, but in any case, they'll come back if you don't find the nest. Dr. K's helped me find the nest, and their answers to complaints here on Amazon were also helpful. Yes, you can probably do the same with fly paper.
