I have had these traps for ten days. Out of three traps, they have only caught one clothes moth. Other traps I have used started trapping multiple moths the same day. If you read the fine print on the box, it says you may have to wait up to ten days for the pheromones to kick in. That should be mentioned in the description on Amazon. If I had known this, I would not have bought this brand. While I've been waiting the ten days, the moths still flying around have been continuing to lay eggs. That allows a whole new generation to get started.

These work when I place them near where moths are seen. Maybe the location is a factor for other reasons too (lighting, ventilation, scents, etc.). Moths avoid certain scents so if there’s an air freshener plug in nearby that might repel them. They tend to be drawn to light so that might help. Consider other factors of placement.

We have carpet moths. So annoying that you randomly find one flying around and you know they’re eating your carpets/clothes etc. This pack of 12 is awesome! I put traps everywhere that I could and they started working immediately. In two problem areas I have caught 10-15 moths already. No smell, no toxins, just pure satisfaction!

I’m amazed by how quickly these moth traps went to work! Within THREE hours two of my traps had captured six male moths! The rate has slowed down from those first three hours, but the number of trapped moths has continued. These unobtrusive traps really, really work, and I’m backing up the traps by smacking the female (I presume) and juvenile moths. The traps are designed to hang or just sit in the various areas. Highly recommended!

These Moth Mag clothes moth traps were completely useless. The only moth they caught was when I placed one of them over a moth and it flew into the adhesive. I know they are clothes moths because the BugMD traps (the pic of the green traps) caught tons. But as you can see in the first pic (pale purple traps), the Moth Mag traps caught nothing. Don’t waste your money!Edited to add: the company did reach out after my review was posted and offered a full refund, which I accepted. So raising my review by 1 star for excellent customer service.

The earlier you deploy these the better - they will tale a few days to work, but once they do they solve the issue. Suggest using multiple in one room, at different heights: on a door handle and attach a couple to curtain rails (at either end) if you have. Having used them previously I have bought another pack due to another load of moths several months later.
