Le quedó perfecto a mi Civic 98, lo malo es que duró 6 meses funcionando ...Ya me tocó cambiarlo

The master cylinder fit my 1998 civic perfectly. If (like me) you're not a mechanic, be prepared. The actual installation is very simple. Removing and reattaching the cotter-pin to the clutch pedal may take some time. This is no fault of the master cylinder part. The attachment point to the clutch pedal is in a very awkward position. It requires you to lie on your back at an angle. FYI, as the area is so high up under the steering wheel side of the dash, a good light source will come in handy. I also used my smart phone to record video to locate the exact position of the cotter-pin for removal and installation, as it is difficult to see. Despite my installation difficulties, this is a great deal for the Do-it-yourself folks!

Been on the car for 6 months. No issues so far. Some people complain the studs are loose, mine were but I just tightened them before installing. But some people didn't. Tell me who's fault that is?

Installed on My 1997 Civic CX hatchback. Quality part is decent, fits properly, does the job👍 Best bang for your buck.

Just received it today and tried to install and the thread size for the brake line nut was incorrect. The OEM master had a larger nut than this new replacement. Item does seem like it could be of quality but annoying having to deal with some trivial differences in parts.

The size of the clutch line is too small doesn’t fit and no one makes an adapter

Works so far. Only three stars because both of the studs that hold the cylinder to the firewall were loose. I've been working on cars for over 40 years, and this is the first time I've ever seen these studs loose on a new part. Which is why I didn't check them. Which is why I had to double-nut them to screw them tightly into the body of the cylinder while crouched painfully under the dash. Cheap, but in the end I wished I'd held out for OEM parts from Honda. If you do buy this master cylinder, make sure you check that the two studs are screwed tightly into the cylinder before you stab it through the firewall, thread the hydraulic pressure line into place, and install the clevis pin and cotter pin to the clutch pedal, before your friend (owner of car) says, "the bottom threads aren't in as far..." Tightening the studs is an easy 1-minute task before installing the cylinder, but a hellish and painful, 20-minute task afterward, unless you're a masochistic contortionist.

I replaced my 17 yr old clutch master cylinder on my acura integra. It works just like a oem part. Great feel and resistance. Was easy to match pedal adjustment. I've only rode for about 500 miles and have no leaks. Will update at a later date.

Worked great the first 1,000 miles, then within one day of driving about 20 miles, pedal went down to the floor. Fluid was leaking past the main seal. This is junk!!
