Bought and installed around january 2024, worked fine for all of last year, fins seemed fine (Although, rusted faster then expected). However, fast forward to january 2025, and I was replacing the rest of my PS system, as I thought my steering box was leaking, and it leaked really bad one day and I lost the pump. So after doing everything except the cooler and cooler lines, I started bleeding the system and quickly found that the leak was actually a 1.5" long blowout in the side of the cooler line, that was spraying onto the steering box. Upon doing some more research, it seems as though Dorman used regular fuel hose instead of high pressure rated PS hose. (Yes, there is a difference, of about 200psi). The difference wouldn't be very notable in warmer climates, however where it gets very cold the PS fluid can gel up when you first start the truck up in the morning, and the pressure will be very high until the fluid warms up. To sum it up, the cooler is okay for the price, but don't plan on using the included lines for more then a temporary fix, go to oriellys and grab the 20 dollars in high pressure PS hose to replace the included ones.

Be aware the hose clamps are not secured on the pre assembled ends. You could lose all your fluid and have no hydro boost brake assist or a giant fire when it sprays the exhaust. Sloppy workmanship

Product description is not as describe for having an upgraded fin design same flat fins as original (see picture). Hose clamps are not the greatest no socket size fits them. But easy install and it’s working leak free vs rusted original
