Needed to replace the original cooler in the radiator for a mid-engined Fiero. Found a good ventilated location anf mounted it in an hour or so. Came complete with everything needed to hook it up.

Installed in about an hour...but a lot of that was me fumbling around with placement. If you had easy access to the radiator, I bet it would have taken about 40 minutes. I didn't think to get before and after temps, but I towed a 3000 lb boat for 40 minutes and the temp at the outside of one of the tubes was only 120 degrees. Seems to be working well.

Easy to install and didn't have any leaks or problems with it. The mounting zip ties worked great too.

This is more of a review on the company (Derale) than the productCooler arrived yesterday.I tried to call Derale today to get answers to a couple of presale questions.1st call only a VM.2nd call was answered and they transferred me to a voicemail with said to use the online inquiry.3rd attempt was using the contact us vis the Derale website and I got an immediate reply which said if you need any further assistance contact a dealer.I am in the auto parts business. and restorations are my hobby. So far not happy about not being able to contact someone. In fairness, I got a reply back from Derale with an apology for the "blank email" with "some" of my questions answered.I didn't want to play email tag trying to figure things out and I don't have a good feeling about not being able to talk to someone so I have decided that the return is best and not to buy one of their controllers either.Do they have a good product? I don't know. I wanted to buy name brand so moving on to Dakota Digital which is also sold by Amazon...

Installed on a 1995 Camry for towing a small trailer. I custom built my own brackets for installation. Fit great and was easy to install after I built my brackets. Also helps with the extreme heat where I live. Excessive heat kills anything on an automobile.

Second time I installed these coolers on my tow vehicles. Easy to install if you are good with vehicles. Keeps the transmission down by 25 degrees when towing.

It's too soon to give it a 5. It did come nicely packed and ahead of expectations. Due to the stress this cooler goes thru under the hood, I'll be able to tell you after a year of service if it met my expectations...so far so good! This was installed in series w/the manufacturer's oil cooler on my Nissan Xterra. Nissan had problems with several 2005-10 models, not just the Xterra. The transmission oil was getting in with the radiator fluid and breaking down the transmission and clogging the engine ports. Disconnected the transmission oil lines from the radiator. This extra cooler should compensate for the radiator. Wasn' t going to wait to see if mine would have the same problem!!!!

Excellent product and instant shipping with Prime. Great price, too.This cooler comes complete with 4' of 5/16" hose, plus coupling, clamps and ties....I suggest you order an additional 4' of hose to make certain you have nuff.It took me all of 15 minutes to install this cooler on my new Nissan Frontier after watching the video published my manufacturer on youtube.
