After installation, there was a leak coming from the line, and it turned out to be a faulty hose clamp… Not a huge deal, except for where it was located and the fact that I expect a product to be of sufficient quality when I purchase it

I installed this on a 1997 GMC Suburban K2500. It fit better than the OEM due to the lines being removable from the cooler.

The bolt holes lined up for mounting the cooler. But there are some things to watch out for.First the clamps that are factory mounted to the cooler need to be tightened. I would suggest doing this before mounting it in the vehicle.Second, the metal fitting that screwed into the steering box had the wrong bend to the pipe. It was a subtle difference that I didn't notice until I held it up side by side and compared to the one. I had to manually rebend it.The third problem is the hose clamp on the power steering pump side really should be a high pressure clamp. I installed the one that came with it, but it leaked badly.Overall a decent product, but for me needed a few tweaks that most DIY's can do.

Good aftermarket option, but ours required disassembling the hoses to reorient the steel tubes properly. Due to the natural curve in the hose we couldn't connect the steel line without the hose pinching. Also the clamps that came with it were not very tight. We replaced them with pinch style clamps. This is connected to the return side of the power steering system so it is low pressure, but you still may want to make certain those clamps are snug. Other that, a good alternate to the GM OE.
