That way there's less risk a doorknob will damage the wall behind it. They do a very good job of being soft squares that stick to your wall. They do stick to the wall. They are easy to line up with the doorknob. They are clear so they match most wall colors. They soften the impact when a doorknob strikes the wall. You don't need to drill holes in the floor or wall, don't need a hinge to be taken apart, and don't need to be adjusted.I'd imagine that if you did something like kick the door hard, some damage might still happen but I don't feel a need to test that.

So quick and easy to use. They are as thick and cushiony as I had hoped.

Stick on the wall very easily. Look almost invisible because they’re clear.

Love the product works great for my fridge door that hits the wall a bit. Put one there and now the fridge door has a cushion. Very thick material and sticky yet seems to come off with no damage to the wall. An excellent buy!

Good for solutions for everyday protection of walls and things. If you are remodeling, these are helpful to have beforehand. We did not know that and quickly discovered we needed some, after we installed new cabinets and painted the walls. We must have a world record for the quickest "ding" to a new cabinet door. (So we ordered this solution) We put these behind the garbage cans to protect the walls. They look really good. We also tried cutting them into smaller pieces to use here and there. (Cutting them smaller was less successful.) On one wall behind one can the pad stayed stuck perfectly the first time and does the job that it should. The pads look so nice because they don't disrupt the color of paint on the wall. The thickness of them is great. Prep (clean) area first and make sure you know exactly where you want to place it before you do. On another wall one did fall off a few times that first couple hours (it had also been moved around when originally placing it) but after reapplying each time it stopped and after those few hours that first day that one finally "took" and has remained in place since. We put one on a cabinet door and that stuck perfectly and now protects the wall, there. We recommend. If one falls off, don't give up on it. Put it back up there and push it harder against the wall.It is a relief to know the newly painted wall and new cabinets are (now)safe from dings and can remain in good condition. Get them BEFORE you paint and install new cabinets.(Update: The one fell off again and we tried another one in that same spot, and it did the same. No idea why it won't stick there and will on the other part of the same wall. The others did fine. So.... ??) Removed one star.

I am not happy with this product. My walls are semi-rough texture and these fall off after a coupleOf days. If your walls are smooth, they may work great because they stick well to the floor when they fall off the wall.

They're alright. Super clear and sturdy, and protect the wall well, problem is... they don't stick for nothing. Must be placed on a perfectly smooth surface if you want it to stick.
