Was skeptical but after many times adjusting it it sure saved my wall from the door knob and I didn’t have to put an ugly door stop on the wall

Worked perfectly for what I needed it for. It doesn't create a hard stopping point, just a strong resistance until it can no longer be pushed open further.

They work great and are easy to assemble, the once gripe I have is how long they are. They are not standard length and you can visibly see the additional inches below the hinge plate. I have to take a grinder to make them flush which just bugs me. However, they do what I needed them to do.

Perfect. Our pantry door knob would hit the granite counter top. NOW it doesn't. Ordered a 2nd one for a child's bedroom door. Looks better than most hinge stoppers. Classier look. Little longer than what we needed, but don't notice unless you're examining the lower hinge.

These door savers are easy to install & adjust. They work great to save you from door dings without having the other unsightly door stops. They are absolutely worth the cost!

this hinge works like a dream. Love how low profile it is. Would buy again.

Our front door kept banging into the closet doors even with the small, adjustable stoppers that fit on the hinge pin. The hinge pin would rise so that the stopper was floppy and didn't work. I installed one of these units and no more banging into the closet doors. I recommend it!!

As a homeowner who takes security seriously, I recently purchased the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II Hinge Pin Stop in the Satin Nickel finish. With its promise to fit all 3" to 4-1/2" residential hinges, I was eager to secure my doors and provide an extra layer of protection for my family. However, after using this product extensively, I regretfully award it a measly 1 out of 5 stars.First and foremost, the installation process was a major letdown. The package came with vague instructions that lacked crucial details. As a result, I found myself struggling to properly position and secure the hinge pin stop. The lack of clear guidance made the process frustrating and time-consuming. If the manufacturer had provided clearer instructions or even an installation video, it would have been immensely helpful. Moreover, the quality of the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II left much to be desired. The Satin Nickel finish, which initially seemed elegant, started to chip and peel off after only a few weeks of use. This not only compromised the overall appearance of my door but also raised concerns about the product's durability. I expected better craftsmanship, especially considering the price I paid for it.Unfortunately, the functionality of the hinge pin stop was equally disappointing. While it claimed to fit all 3" to 4-1/2" residential hinges, it failed to do so effectively. The stop would often slip out of place, rendering it useless. Even when I managed to position it correctly, it didn't securely hold the door in place. On numerous occasions, a gentle push was all it took for the door to break free from the hinge pin stop's grip. This compromised the entire purpose of the product and left me questioning its effectiveness. In terms of security, the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II fell short of expectations. I had hoped it would provide an additional layer of protection against forced entry. However, it proved to be an ineffective deterrent. I could easily see how someone with ill intentions could overcome the hinge pin stop without much effort. Its lack of reliability and durability made me doubt its ability to withstand any significant force.Furthermore, the customer support from Nuk3y was extremely disappointing. After experiencing multiple issues with the product, I reached out to their support team for assistance. However, their response was slow and unhelpful. It took several attempts to even get a response, and when I finally did, it was a generic and uninformative reply. The lack of proactive customer service and unwillingness to address my concerns left a sour taste in my mouth. In conclusion, the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II Hinge Pin Stop in Satin Nickel was a disappointing purchase. The vague installation instructions, poor quality and finish, ineffective functionality, and lackluster customer support contributed to my dissatisfaction with this product. It failed to live up to its promises and did not provide the security and peace of mind I was seeking. I cannot recommend the Nuk3y Door Saver 2 II and strongly advise potential buyers to explore alternative options for securing their doors.

First off, there's a reason they don't sell these at home improvement stores. There's at least a 50% chance that this won't fit your door hinges. Main reasons are:1) Pin is the wrong diameter for the hinge. The one I got is too thin for any hinges around here.2) The hinges don't stick out from the door and door frame enough to allow these to only hit the hinge plate without damaging the door or door frame. Much of the time there's just no gap between the joint and the door/frame so they will be damaging the wood.3) Some hinges stick out enough from the door/frame but have too much of a gap between the hinge plates and the joint so these actually slip _under_ the hinge plates, making them ineffective and also damaging the door/frame.4) These stops are so close to the hinge pin that they are under a massive amount of force from the high torque due to leverage. As a result, the hinge plates need to be sufficiently thick and hard or they will BEND under the force. They need to be steel and thick gauge steel as well. What it amounts to is that an invention of this sort needs to be designed along with a particular hinge to actually fit and operate without damaging the door, frame, or hinge itself. It is not a good idea for a "universal" retrofit product. The idea that it fits "all" hinges of a particular vertical length is just not true. Even when it "fits" the hinge it's very likely that it doesn't fit the door or frame.

It’s a neat design, very sleek, and sturdy/solid metal. There’s one major flaw though. It could could be fixed easily by the manufacturer but would probably be too expensive to retoolFirst, installation is simple *if* you have a door opening the sane way as in the instructions. However, if you have a door that opens in, with the jam on the left side, you have to install it upside-down. This is easy once you realize it, but the instructions don’t mention this, so it took a few minutes to figure that out. Maybe it’s intuitive to othersMore important, I was replacing a stopper thar had caused damage to the trim. It dug a notch into it and as a result, stopped functioning. Unfortunately, I have the same issue with this device, though to a lesser degree. If the manufacturer had added some sort of rubber coating or maybe a small metal plate (or something more clever than I can think if) this could be completely remediatedI like the product so I’m going to look into possible workaroundsConclusion: If you have trim made of soft wood or wood-like material (MDF) I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re ok with there being some damage to the trim over time. Otherwise, it’s a cool little product. The design and quality is otherwise flawless
