Easy install, and very loud for the price you can’t complain, but if your door and the door frame do not match up, it will not work. They have to be flush with each other.

I use these on my cooler doors at my store because I had a lot of theft! Best purchase ever!

This works great if you can align the two pieces, but if you have a frame around the door, you can't get them to line up.

I am a social worker who received referrals from CPS for families that didn’t need CPS involvement, but needed help with resources in our Community. Many of our clients were families with autistics kids. I developed kits to include these alarms along with replacement batteries for the alarms. I helped install these above the door frame if possible. The alarm is very loud and alerts parents if the doors open. Beware some kids will try to use a chair to turn off the alarms is the reason I tried to install them at the highest position possible. I would not go to sleep and rely on the alarm to wake me up if my child tried to open the door. But it does provide an extra layer of security to protect and monitor your child. Highly valuable for autistic parents.

These were easy enough to install and they blast out the alarm sound. I hope they last because they are a comfort in the event the door opens allowing unwanted exit of unattended person. Alarm shuts off when door closes.

I use for hubby he has Alzheimer's, so I put on front door back door basement door pantry he puts shoes clothes and hats garbage in the pantry and put garbage down the drain in the basement so yes get them if you need them put as high as you can so they can't reach them. I might need to put one on the frig he opens frig at least 50 times a day. so, my last resort once they open, they hear the alarm they shut door fast . the Alarms last, I did have to replace because one stopped working after 7 months

I decided to fortify my bedroom fortress with not one, but two alarms—one for each door. Seemed like a genius plan at the time.In the dead of night, the first alarm unleashed its shrill cry, jolting me from sleep like a bolt of lightning. Cue the frantic scramble: pistol in one hand, sword at my feet—because, you know, balance is key in a crisis. Only to find out it was a false alarm. Back to bed, right? The second alarm, 30 minutes later, joined the cacophony, triggering the same adrenaline-fueled response. At this point, I surrendered to the chaos and decided to greet the day at an ungodly hour.Credit where it's due, though—the sound these alarms emit could wake the dead. You'd have to be in a coma not to be rattled by it. Despite the comedy of errors, I'll still give them a solid five stars.

My area is dealing with some break-ins. So was looking for some sort of sercurity. Came across these. My neighbor got some the other week. I put them in my cart to show my husband and my grand daughter accidentally order them, but I checked with my neighbor and went over there before mine came and they were so disappointed. I looked at them and they look really cheaply made. They said only 1 worked and the others kept falling off the adhesive which didn't matter at that point. I looked at the one and opened their door and boy oh boy was that loud. Really loud!! There is no way I could listen that sound. It was windy that day and it just kept going off. Not for me. I would not recommand this product but again that is just me. There is better options out there. I guess cheaper is not always better.
