This countertop grill is extremely handy for making a fast burger or chicken patty sandwich, grilled cheese or tuna melt. It does what it's made for with near perfection. Heats up quickly enough, sears the meat, and grills top and bottom at the same time—no flipping involved.The one downside, though, is enough to give one pause: clean-up. Without a removable grill plate, as you will find on some indoor grills, it's a chore to clean. You cannot get the unit wet without possibly damaging the wiring and electrical circuits. Yet, there's no way to separate the two. Grilling hamburgers is quite messy. So it's a challenge to clean the grill without getting something wet that is not supposed to ever get wet.In this case, paper towels are your best friend. And a damp sponge. Regardless how greasy, it must be wiped down, not washed in a sink. The grease tray helps, which is washable in the sink. Because of this problem, it may get used less often than you think. Otherwise, it is a good unit, comparable in cooking quality to the more popular George Foreman grills, which, to be honest, are also tricky to clean.For the price and performance—never mind the inconvenience of cleaning—it's a good buy.

I needed a replacement for my other small white (famous name) grill, which I think was discontinued, so I decided to give this Dominion grill a try. At first I used it to grill frozen turkey burgers and the cleanup wasn't too bad. I then used it to grill frozen smash burgers. Although it grilled nicely and quickly, it made such a mess that by the sixth burger, I just couldn't bear cleaning the grill one more time that I ended up throwing it in the garbage. The grease was everywhere. Each time it took several paper towels trying to sop it up. I hated the weep hole for the grease to fall through the bottom into the drip tray. I lucked out and found my tried and true model on an auction site. I am happy for the Dominion users who are satisfied with this grill and who find it easy to clean.

This grill works great so far only used once but so far it doing the job of my old foreman grill that I had to replace but it’s working great I’m happy with the my purchase.

Gets hot fast, and cooks food quick. easy to clean.I carry it in my lunch bag and use it at work when I'm at my part time job on weekends. So it gets used often. Makes a great grilled cheese sandwich too. I have a panini press, and prefer to use this instead for my grilled cheese sandwiches.
