We have a couple of places in our garages that during a heavy driving rain will leak in sometimes around the garbage doors. I use these pads to keep the water from running into the main flooring. They work great. When done, I leave them in the sun until they dry up and then toss them in the garbage. They would be great to have if you had a big spill around the house. I keep two packages of them in hand at all times to be prepared. For larger concerns I use he 8’ dam strips. I get a box of them each spring for any areas that are prone to backup during heavy rains.

These are thin and really don't hold a lot of water. One review stated 1 sheet equals one roll of paper towel. Not even close. If these were cheaper, I would rate them higher because you can cut them to fit exactly where you need them. They are convenient. Unfortunately, they just don't absorb that much water and they are very overpriced at eighteen dollars for ten. You'll do much better and absorb a LOT more water with eighteen dollars worth of paper towels.

I cut a small square to test in a cup of water. INSTANTLY absorbed to capacity.I wrung it out and soaked up plenty more.Reusing is a great option when and where practical.I cut some in half to place in garbage can bottoms around my shop to catch any liquid that might escape a leaky bag. These will be great to have around in the event of a plumbing leak to control water until you can take corrective action.Great product. Great value.

Pads handy and functional kind of pricey and could be a little thicker
