I don’t leave reviews often but thought this product was worth my two cents. I’ve been using this product for about a month now for my two cats and one dog. On the plus side I can tell they’re drinking a lot more water which is great. I really like the filtration system as it keeps the water fresh.However, before using this item, I would recommend soaking the bowl with water and baking soda and leave over night. Out of curiosity, I taste tested the water and there was a strong metallic taste to it and if I think it tastes bad so will my fur kids. Soaking with baking soda resolved this.Why I subtracted one star: there is a huge injury hazard with the filter assembly. The metal where you attach the filter to the lid is razor sharp and I nicked myself while cleaning recently. This could be a really bad injury if proper care isn’t taken.

With 2 cats and one small dog this fountain is perfect. With its large capacity I am not having to constantly fill it. It is also very quiet.

My dogs love it! It’s got a huge reservoir, all kinds of filtration and the pups stopped drinking out of the toilet. Mostly.

I just got my fountain so I can't say how it works long term but it was very easy to wash, easy to set up, is extremely quiet and my dogs love it so far!

It wasn't as tall as I expected, but this thing is pretty great. It took me a few minutes to put it together. I like that it circulates the water so it's not just sitting there. I used to fill my pit bull's bowl a minimum of 4 times a day usually it was 5-6 mostly because she gets more on the floor than she drinks. I noticed with this, there is a lot less water on the floor. It's completely silent. It has a red light that goes on when its low on water, I just kind of wish the light would turn red a little sooner. Soon as the light is red, the water stops pumping, so there isn't a lot of warning.

I was very optimistic about this dog water bowl, as one of my dogs is very picky about fresh water. We have 3 dogs, and while the bowl does encourage drinking more often, the filter quickly becomes clogged by the dog slobber. After 12 hours or so of use, the dog slobber forms a barrier on the filter where the water is supposed to flow back into the bowl. As a result, the water has no place to go and spills out all over the floor. The size is nice, and this might be good for cats or one dog, but not multiple dogs. Very disappointed.
