Good battery. Very sturdy. My dog chewed on it once. Swam with it. Still works fine.

I like the effectiveness of the collar, keeps my dog from going out of a wrought iron fence. He is a nine month old Beagle & very curious with his sniffer. Also, the range is far, when he gets out, all I have to do is hit the beeper for the noise & he comes back. Additionally , the fact that you can take off the prongs so it does noy get accidentally shocked!

I have a Great Dane who is a big scaredy cat when it comes to things being changed inside the house. We were doing home projects which he did not like since the way to get outside was set up differently. He then decided he wanted to stay outside for HOURS. It gets cold where we live and we could not get him in the house for the life of us without it becoming a game of running up and down the deck stairs. We got the collar and only use the beep setting. We used it maybe 4 times and he has no issues coming in the house now. I highly recommend it. It’s affordable and affective for what we needed it for.

This unit has worked really well for me. My dog has been acting like a teenager with headphones on(the whole huh? You were talking to me?) The vibrate button is a real attention getter without any pain to her. It is easy to set up and use. Mention food and she hears just fine. Call her in and not so much. The level 2 vibrate gets her attention and tells her I mean business. The beep will turn her around quickly(she was trained on another system) and I haven't needed to use the shock button at all. At $30 it's a gift to self.

If your dog is talented. Then dog won't bother about vibration. They will act as cool even we give high vibration. But product is useful for below 10 times.

The collar and it's hand controller are robustly made and reliable. our dog a (Jack Russell) is a very very active dog on a large acreage, he's tested this collar in nearly every possible way over the past 6 months. this collar has been fully submerged so many times in our dam I've lost count as our dog loves to swim. this collar has been so helpful since it arrived we could imagine our dog without it just for peace of mind..pro's:1.. both collar and controller are robustly made, especially the hand controller.2.. battery life has been fantastic, no problems..3.. the collar is really water tight and has been submerged countless times, I'd say well over 50 times..4.. it's range "while limited" it is still very useful, so don't let that put you off.5.. it works great, it helps get that head-strong naughty spoilt dog to come at just a beep sound.6.. it's simple, well made, robust and very reliable with great battery life...cons:1. the working range of the collar could be longer... about 200-220 meters effective range were getting, that said if your dog goes out of range just go for a walk..2. the collar can go to sleep (battery saving measure) and you have to press the (sound-Beep) button on the controller for about 4 seconds before it wakes up again, this can make you question if it's working sometimes, especially if your dog is out of range.. on two occasions we've had to activate the collar manually on the dog, because the controller wouldn't wake the collar up... But 98% of the time the collar does wake up through the controller even at range and starts flashing, which is great at night.3. the prongs on the collar can unscrew over time and can fall out, do them up tightly and check them once a week.. this was error on our part, the collar came with 2 sets of prongs for big dogs and small.

So I wanted to update my review on this collar. I've owned it exactly 3 months today and it is completely dead. I'm not sure if maybe I left the tab open slightly and it got a little bit of water inside when we went to the dog park or if it just died. But I can charge it and it will have the green light on showing that it's charging but as soon as you take it off the charger, it is completely dead so it doesn't do anything. It worked great up until about a week ago tho. So I have to invest in another one which I'm not happy about because I don't have a whole lot of money but my dog definitely needs a training collar still but my dog is very hard-headed LOL. So just wanted to give an update but I'm not sure if the fault is on me or the collar itself.I rescued my pitbull a year and a half ago and as much as I love him & wouldn't trade him for the world... he is very energetic, very stubborn, very strong, & very hard for me to handle. I got this collar so I can take him to the dog park to get some of his energy out. I think it works wonderful! I love the fact that you can take the prongs off the collar or put them on to use the shocker. I've had to use the shocker maybe twice and my dog just knows now that vibrate gets his attention. The battery is long-lasting & the range on it is actually alot better than I thought it would be! He does get in the water at the park so I just make sure that the closure is on the battery charger on the collar. It closes tight & I've had no problems with it. My dog listens very well when we're at the dog park. I would definitely recommend this product!

I spent a fair amount of time trying to find the right vibrating training collar. This one has three features: beep, vibrate and shock. I'll break down each one:1. Beep: As you'd imagine, pressing the beep button lets out a single beep. There is no way to adjust the volume, which is a bit of a downside.2. Vibrate: The vibrate function is similar to your cell phone vibrating. Adjusting the dial basically changes how long the device will vibrate for. If the collar is loose on your dog and your dog has long hair, it might not feel the vibrate that well.3. Shock: Comes with two sized shock prongs. I wish there was a medium size between the two. If you don't add the prongs, you won't accidentally shock your dog (as long as your dog has hair). Prongs need to touch dog skin for shock to work. Shock should be used as a last resort. The remote can be powered off with the switch. This is nice for not accidentally setting it off. The collar can be trimmed short to fit your dog. To turn off the collar, press the button twice.Battery lasts a long long time. I've owned for a few months and have only charged it once. Range seems to be fine. I always have my dog within visual sight. Waterproofing seems to work fine too. There is a rubber gasket to cover the charging port.I wish the USB connections were USB-C at this point. Anyways, for the price, this collar seems to work just fine. I wish that the shock and vibrate power could be adjusted independently.

This collar has a very easy setup, can be adjusted to fit just about any dog, and works quite well (when it's able to connect). However, the only issue I have found with this collar is that the controller often loses contact with the collar receiver. Most of the time, my dog is well-behaved. When he does something I want to correct, I hit one of the buttons and... nothing happens. Sometime while my dog was behaving well, the remote lost contact with the collar. It's easy enough to reestablish contact (all you have to do is hit one of the buttons, switch to the other channel and then back to the proper channel, and then hit the button again), however by the time you do enough time has passed that your dog has no idea why they are getting the vibration/shock, making the correction utterly useless. As you may or may not know, behavior correction must be immediate with dogs, but it takes a good three or four seconds to reestablish connection with the collar when it goes out, and there is no warning of any kind that connectivity has been lost. You only find out it does not work when you go to hit a button. Then you spend 3 or 4 seconds fixing the issue, and by then your dog is on to other things and has no idea why they are getting buzzed/zapped.For the money, this is a good training collar. I think it would be much improved, however, with the addition of a warning beep from the controller any time contact with the collar is lost. That way, you would have time to fix the issue before you need to use the remote for real.
