I have never tried an anti-pull harness before despite needing one for my dog for quite some time. It was easy to put on and can be adjusted in multiple places to get a good fit. My dog appeared to be comfortable when he wore it. The harness has reflective material on it making it easier to see in the dark. This harness did help prevent my dog from trying to pull too hard when we went on walks. The only thing that is a bit disappointing is that some of the material is starting to peel.

This has been a very good investment. It works to keep our dog's attention on our relationship when he would otherwise be really distracted and pull on the leash. We bought a second one so that we can keep one in the car along with an extra leash. Highly recommend this gentle leader.

This anti-pulling harness is a type I hadn't tried in the past. I would say that it works about as effectively as a martingale collar, no better, but no worse, and I like the martingale, so I'm please with this one also. I lean toward the martingale collar though, since it remains on our big dog, and I don't have to take it on and off. Having said that, this seems to be a durable and effective solution. I took off one star for value/materials for the price. For the price, plastic parts should have been metal. Still, I'm overall pleased with it, and it ran true to size (Large). My dog needs to be walked a few times a day, and this makes it a little easier, not so hard on my back and arm.

This is just what we needed. The boy is a puller, and I’ve tried it all. We’ve tried the nubbed prong collar, the vibration collar, the “no pull” collar, the slip collar, a harness, a harness and a slip collar combo, a harness and a abdomen hugging leash. Tried it all. This is the only thing that’s worked yet. Of course he stopped and attempted to get it off multiple times, unable to he’d continue on his way. He’s friendly but his pulling nature and dragged owner don’t make for a good time. With this he doesn’t even try to get to another dog. Idk if he’s embarrassed or still adjusting, but never in his life has he not gotten loud and aggressively pulled to go greet others till this gentle leader. Now I can just be. It’s easy to get on, well made and has a good quality buckle. Fits him great too, except I’m still adjusting so I don’t tighten it and therefor I don’t trust it by itself. He’s still 100lb and it seems fragile to trust in a sense, but I think that’s more user error/anxiety. Will update once I feel he’s trained properly, thus far, it’s literally made it so I look forward to walks again. It is a learning curve for all involved, he’s learning to accept it and I find myself constantly having to adjust his feet out of his way, but no complaints yet.

This gentle leader works great on my dog that would pull you over if she wasn't wearing this! With this on she walks very pretty, does not pull, and is just a delight now to take on walks. Doesn't hurt her one bit and is just a fantastic deterrent to her pulling. LOVE!

This head harness seems to be great quality and fits true to size. I got this for a dog that is quite possibly the smartest dog I've ever had, but also the craziest and most stubborn when I put a leash on her. My dog sees being hooked to a leash as an opportunity to prove she cannot be fully tamed. This product has helped a lot. It's easy to use and definitely helps with pulling. My aggravating genius still finds creative ways around the extra control this head harness gives me over her but, considering a good portion of our walks usually consisted of me holding on for dear life and praying I made it back alive before using this head harness, the significant reduction of "episodes" has been greatly appreciated. If this head harness can make such a positive difference with my wild child, I have no doubt it will significantly help with other dogs, too. I highly recommend it.

I've only had this for a few weeks. I just happened to notice the stitching failed on the strap around the snout. Had I not found this before our walk, my dog could have easily gotten loose. The only things that would have been keeping the leash on him would have been the strap around the back of his ears and the safety strap with the plastic clasp. I purchased this because it has metal rather than plastic hardware. I was disappointed when I saw that the safety strap was plastic. The prior one was all plastic and the main clasp around the back of ears eventually broke. I am probably returning this for refund unless they can assure me the stitching failure is a fluke. At least the cheaper all plastic one lasted 2 years. If they make this right I will update or resubmit a revised review.
